My partner and I really struggled to find a property before speaking to James, and he made the whole process incredibly smooth. We will use them again in the future. GoogleMust be one of the most arrogant Estate Agency around. All employees are very “confident and great knowledge as they are “expert in the branch with many years experience” although, as it turned out in my case, did not know how to open the pedestrian gate from the house. They do not know the market but push their own clients with fixed budgets and pretend to bring loads of prospective buyers to your front door, all with much lower offerings but great expectations for the money they can spend. They are master in lowering constantly the value of one’s property so to fit the budget of their clients which means that every few weeks they suggest yet again a lower price. Already a very bad idea in principle. Mind you, they will not make an appraisal of one’s property just in case but also to be able , every time, to then argue that they never gave a value to the property in first place. The girls have a “call centre” attitude and work on set phrases of which “i assure you” takes the biscuit: that is not even standing on a political platform let alone when selling a property simply because the assurances are worth zero. A bunch of full of themselves individuals with a gift for selling equal to a bear at the North Pole. If you are looking to sell a property go elsewhere unless you want your property sold at a very considerably lower amount because that is what they want to do. They must have a very limited group of buyers all with a fair low budget.

GoogleMy partner and I just completed our first home purchase with the help of Matt Hirst and his team. From my very first phone call to view the property right through chasing things for me while on holiday AFTER completion, Matt has been a breath of fresh air. At the point we met Matt our trust in estate agents had all but gone due to a proposed purchased that had just fallen through, and Matt more than restored our faith. On my first viewing Matt stayed an extra 2 hours after his office hours to answer my long list of questions, he chased everything, responded to everything in a timely manner and always had our best interests at heart. He was proactive in finding information that stopped our solicitors delaying exchange for 3 weeks. He picked up our signed documents and drove them all the way to our solicitors in Gravesend! He even received special praise for his extra efforts from our solicitors. As first time buyers we were nervous at times and he always remained contactable. His knowledge of property and the industry itself was first class, he would either know the answer or know a way to find it out for us. His direct report Luke Goatley was also excellent where needed and in Matt’s absence and was actually the one who handed us the keys! I would highly recommend this office for your next property purchase.

GoogleWe were recommended Sinclair Hamilton by a couple of groups of friends in the area who spoke highly of them of but wanted to get check prices and test the others in the area and were glad that they were very competitive and gave us most confidence that they would achieve the best price for our property and smoothest process on our sale. Having not moved in 10+ years we were apprehensive of horror stories you hear but were guided through the process and our concerns were discussed and a plan of action put in place which gave us confidence and allowed us to put our attention elsewhere as we trusted all was in hand. The sale process was within timeframes forecasted and achieved a sale price in excess of our expectations (and that of other estate agents in the area). Our key dates for completion regarding school dates were taken on board and was processed in time to avoid any issues. Contact and updates were regular and I do not recall a time when my wife or I rang and could not speak to someone with an update on the first point of trying. In summary we would recommend Luke, Faye, Morwenna and the team at Sinclair Hammelton for a professional first class service that is more than value for money.

GoogleDuring the period January 5 - January 13, 2018 I have visited Bromley, Kent in UK to search for a 2 Bedrooms apartment in Bromley for me and my wife. The search process was very stressfull as the estate agencies were asking for 12 months rent in advance or 6 months rent plus security deposit and a UK guarantor which was impossible for me to find. When I address my apartment search request to Ms. Lara Harker Assistant Manager at Sinclair Hammelton lettings office in Bromley I was very impressed with the professionalism, efficiency and effectiveness of Lara. She has found an excellent property for me and negotiated with the landlord to accept 6 months rent and a security deposit. I will be very happy to write a very positive review for you and your staff on how efficient and quick you have aranged the viewing and rental of the property and the professionalism you showed on our situation while we didn't had employment you were able to convince the owners to accept us as tenants to rent their property by paying 6 months rent and security deposit. Of course due to our situation the rental process didn't completed due to family reasons however the whole process was handled by great professionalism by Lara Harker and her staff. Lara and Kayleigh were very willing and very polite to help me to find the right property and to overcome the 12 months advanced rent that other estate agencies were asking which were a lot of money to pay upfront just because we were planning to move to the UK without having an employment. The UK government needs to reduce the advanced amount of rents down to 3 months for people that are going to UK to find a job. I will definetely come back to Lara Harker to ask her to arrange my apartment rental search once I am back in Bromley. Lara is an excellent professional and very customer oriented person which is what wins me as a customer over other estate agencies that remain in typical criteria. GoogleSH worked really hard to sell our house and were excellent at communicating with us throughout the process. They also sold us our new house and Matt and Luke were both an integral part in keeping the process moving when the conveyancers failed to understand what needed to be done to keep to the dates that all parties had agreed to. If we were ever planning to move again (which we're not!) we would definitely use SH again.

The letting team at Bromley pay great attention and care particularly Kayleigh who helped us with our current property. GoogleDo not rent the property at 36 Herbert Road the landlord intends to raise the rent next year. Awful landlords the roof still leaks the place has damp takes ages to repair anything in the house. The electrics are not earthed constant electric problems. Bodged up repairs. I lived there for seven years Raised the rent recently by £250 is money mad. VB and her daughter particularly nasty people. The daughter lives in Australia (horrendous woman she is getting rid of a young family at the end of Herbert road by raising the rent by £300 a month) and refuses to repair the property properly. They own and rent in Cowper road Herbert road and pope road. Don’t rent from these people. Look elsewhere! Awful landlordNegativeQuality

First to view made an offer, which we accepted. Couldn’t be simpler! Our main point of contact was Luke S,- who we were extremely impressed by. Luke and Harry kept us updated along the process, and I would definitely recommend this branch of the company.

GoogleUnprofessional people i gave theme my email address three times never got the right one ,went for a view the agent didn't have keys,didn't know anything about the properties ,nothing about utilities,went for a second view ,i've sent an email to have more infos and arrange a deposite ,never answer back ,i ve called them and now overnight the property i 've viewed the day before and that was avaiable has now he suddenly gone! Dear Arianna, I am sorry you were disappointed with the service you were given. I understand that you went to view the property and unfortunately the lock on the main door to the property was not functioning and we were unable to gain access. We did then arrange for a second appointment for you to view but another tenant put down a holding deposit in the meantime. While I appreciate this was frustrating for you, we are duty bound to work on a first come, first served basis, once a Landlord has agreed to accept an offer. Regarding your email requesting more information, I can see that you telephoned just shortly after having sent the request, where it was explained to you that the property was no longer available. This is the reason why you did not receive a reply as the property was no longer on the market and you had been made aware of this fact. We would like to wish you the very best of luck in your future search and we are sorry that this particular property did not pan out for you.

GoogleNot great experience dealing with these guys. We rented through them and have to say for both tenants and landlords the experience seemed unprofessional. We had a long delay getting our bond back at the end of the tenancy, we chased for weeks and Hammelton Sinclair told us the delay was due to the landlord. Landlord told us the bond was signed off weeks ago. The landlord promptly got hold of Sinclair Hammelton and the bond suddenly was released. During the tenancy we had numerous changes of primary contact and when things went wrong they were slow to respond or never came back to us after we chased them numerous times.

Regarding the changes of primary contact, this would have been down to ongoing efforts to improve our service to both our Tenants and Landlords, although you could always have contacted the office here in Bromley directly if you had any concerns and we would have been more than happy to assist. However, we will of course look at your case on an individual basis and please rest assured that any changes or training required will be put in place to ensure that we provide an excellent service. I have also investigated your end of tenancy deposit release. The checkout was carried out on the 3rd of April, 2019. The report was then sent to your Landlord for their response and to clarify if there would be any claims on your deposit. The deposit was released back to you on the 30th of April, as soon as we received notification from your Landlord that they did not wish to make any claims. I note that in the interim we did repeatedly request an invoice/receipt for your end of tenancy clean, to expedite the deposit return. This, unfortunately, was never received, which did contribute to the delay. We would like to wish you all the very best in your new home and hope that we have been able to provide some clarity regarding your concerns and comments.
