From the first phone call the North End branch were polite, helpful and supportive. Special thanks to Mo Hussain who did exactly what he said he would getting us a quick sale for more money than I thought possible. Finally an Estate Agent Who is Human!

We found ourselves having to move out of our rented house due to the owner wanting to sell up. After countless viewings with other estate agents and being rudely ignored we found a house in Copnor that would suit our family, the open house had already been done 2 days prior but we phoned to ask if we could still have a viewing and spoke to Abbie in the Portsmouth Branch, who was amazing! she listened to our plight without judgement, phoned the owner and within 2 hours we got to see the house with the owner present and got the ok a day later and started the formal process. Abbie was GREAT she explained all the stages and the time frames and really helped push for a positive outcome for us, she didn't treat us like a number or a faceless chore, she made us feel that finding us a home was important to her and that we mattered.

Selling my house quickly with Cubit and West

I decided to go with Cubit and West, due to the sales pitch by Claire Mansell which was very impressive. Once I had prepared the house for sale, photographs and a video tour were taken and sent to their Data base of potential buyers, the house was immediately viewed and an offer excepted before the house went live on their web-site, Zoopla or Rightmove.I was kept up to date on the progress of the sale at every step of the way, mainly by Cailean Burns, he normally answered the phone and was always happy to answer my questions and queries.They are also dealing with the sale of my girlfriends house sale and once again Cailean has been the main point of contact and has been happy to chase any questions and issues on that sale too.I was very happy with the whole process.

Abbey and Marcus - Portsmouth Branch

Abbie and Marcus have been absolutely marvellous throughout. We initially enquired about a property and unfortunately, we didn't get it, however, Abbie understood our current situation with not having long left on our current tenancy and needed something to suit us both. Abbie rang and had offered me a cancellation slot at a property after Marcus had mentioned myself and my friend, and this property if anything was much more suited to our needs. Not even 24 hours later Abbie then rang to say we had been successful!Abbie guided us the whole way through the process, she is nothing short of absolutely fantastic, a wonderful cheery nature who obviously knows what she is doing, and now thanks to her we have an agreement and we have a new property. From the first visit when we decided to test the market we found the team professional and helpful, the online content and video walk round were excellent by and after the first open day our property was sold. Liam and then Nichole were always there to answer our queries and then guide us through the process, communications are always responded to by various staff even if the others were out of the office, I had a few long chats with Liam during the sale and found the whole process stress free, things happen in a long chain and I always felt that this was being dealt with by our sales team and solicitors, we are grateful to Cubit and West for dealing with our sale and recommend them if you are thinking of starting your own sale/buy.

Take the stress out of selling…

We have lived in our home since we married, we haven’t had to buy or sell a property for 38 years, we were very anxious about the process and needed guidance and reassurance. We also didn’t want to be sold to.We initially met with Liam Galliford who came around at a time to suit us, he was consultative and reassuring. Liam was very professional and able to answer all of our questions honestly and clearly. His recommended strategy was spot on, we sold our house in 10 days, Liam had said he expected no more than 14. We needed to move fast.Liam was supported in the Crawley office by Scott, Tamsin and Nichole, who arranged all of our viewings. They were all guided, we didn’t need to do anything, and arranged with minimum disruption to our home life. We even agreed a communication method that I was able to manage with my busy work from home schedule.Now waiting for the contracting process to conclude…up to now, the process has not been stressful, just busy and manageable thanks to Liam and his team.Highly recommended.

Marcus at cubitt and west is amazing!

I have rented from cubitt and west for nearly 8 years. Marcus who is head of lettings in portsmouth is the most kindest and easiest man to get on with. He has always listened to all my needs and helps me every step of the way to get the right home I need from start to finish. He has great communication and is always easy to get hold off and always gets back to me promptly. If you're looking to rent a home I highly recommend Marcus from the portsmouth branch as he will go above and beyond to get you what you're looking for. I was very happy with the service I received relating to my purchase with Waterlooville branch. I dealt with Julie Bramble. I was regularly kept informed of the state of play in what was a difficult purchase due to the cyber attack which one of the solicitors in the chain suffered which delayed things. I also felt supported by the agent when other agents in the chain and their clients were putting me and my partner under undue and underserved pressure to hurry things up. Emily Casey is the definition of great customer service

Emily Casey has been outstanding over the last couple of days. Very easy to talk with, extremely conscientious and organised. Emily has offered advice on brokers and mortgages which so far no other estate agent has volunteered. She spent time getting to know me instead of just filling out a form and making the experience personal. If I’m honest I want to buy a house just so Emily gets the commission!
