Where do we start, I guess with Paige White first, what a diamond she is, from the very moment we first met her, she was friendly helpful and most importantly honest. The place Paige took us too, she warned us go in with an open mind, as work was ongoing at the property but not ready yet. We went and while we went in with an open mind, it was difficult to see beyond. Paige said I will keep a close eye on the progress and update you. We went away more in hope than anything else. Within a week of that viewing Paige called us and said come back and see what has been done. Which we did and while it was not yet ready the transformation was amazing. Paige had been right along, We said yes to the property and Paige went out of her way to get the paperwork side of things moving. When dealing with the rest of the team in the Bognor branch of C & W they too were friendly and helpful. Inside a month we are in the property and a huge part of that was down to Paige White.

Incompetent Estate Agent

An extremely stressful, upsetting and intimidating experience with Cubit and West, Haywards Heath.At the rushed initial meeting, David Dunham failed to record vital information regarding title deeds, footpath and building regulations that was given to him at the time.This vital information was not passed on to the buyer at the initial viewing causing delays and uncertainty with the sale of the property.There were no updates or cooperation during the sale of the property.Overall I found David Dunham unhelpful, intimidating and unprofessional and would definitely not recommend this company

Emily & Holly mixed up the days of viewing and then asked for a confirmation via email three hours before the correct viewing. I confirmed 1,5h prior to the viewing but they did not show up anyway. Viewing houses makes you busy and you can’t be expected to check your emails constantly. They claimed they could not call me since I do not have a UK number. I’m on both WhatsApp and Viber. It’s 2026. Not professional.

A disaster from the start

A disaster from the start - moving into a rental in Crowborough with the support from the Crawley branch, with direct experience working with several members in the branch, it is comprised of a collective bunch of inadequate representatives to say the least. We moved into a property that was filthy, full of the old tenants belonging, exposed plug sockets, toilet not working and an ongoing issue with Rats. There was no preparation or interest in making the property presentable. Despite the significant amount of money one pays in todays market, little concern was shown for our move in. During our stay we have continued to tackle the issue with rats, adding to this during winter, we had an issue with a carbon issue resulting in our gas being turned off. Requiring the next stage to have an engineer attend the property, this took 7 days without heating or hot water - baring in mind we have 2 small children. Fortunately we were able to opt in for a break clause that enabled us to leave the property and have now received a significantly better experience from another agency. I personally believe we become a burden, issues that they'd rather not hear about. However fortunately for us, we haven't ignored the issues and still have an outstanding formal compliant.It is now 2 weeks and we haven't received confirmation on when our deposit will be received.

we are so pleased we choose cubitt and west to sell our house and purchased our new property,Richard and his team were so helpful all the way through, they returned our calls promptly and were always on hand if we had a problem. Richard went the extra mile for us both with our sale and purchase it wasn’t unusual for him to ring late in evening and also at weekends, Jordan was very friendly and polite showing us round our new home,As for Lisa poor girl I gave her some grief on the phone as ours wasn’t an easy sale and she always returned my calls and was so helpful.I will miss ringing them in the future as I hope this is my last move, if I do move I will certainly be calling them again.

We agreed to purchase our new venture through Cubbitt and west, North end branch. Staff have been amazing, starting off with Michael Sinnott, he was brilliant from first call to agreeing a price. Then we got introduced to this wonder lady call Julie Bramble, senior sales Progressor. She is one amazing person to begin with. Our sales got delayed due to requiring lease extension done. However that didn’t put us off from buying, Julie always made sure we were updated in every steps and always reassured that sales would go through. She has been absolutely brilliant from day one. There was multiple times when Solicitors from both side didn’t communicate adequately and things got delayed but Julie made sure those issues were resolved. We just can’t thank her enough. Overall Its been a great experience, I highly recommend Cubbit and west Portsmouth if you are buying or selling. They have some brilliant people like Julie Bramble to make sure your sales progress to completion without hassle. 10/10

The team at Patcham have been amazing, I couldn’t have wished for a better team to help with the whole process of moving. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a personal, professional and dedicated service. Eloise the manager is really experienced, and great at explaining the finer details of what’s going on in the market, and how to market your house. Alice and Zak were always there to help and give advice, and they worked so hard, as did the rest of the team, Barbara, Margaret and Andrea. Alice kindly spent time with me helping with the online conveyancing process and masses of paperwork, which was new to me, and this helped reduce the stress of it all a lot. It’s been quite a tough year to sell generally, and they kept a positive and encouraging attitude throughout. Actually, they all really deserve a medal!

Great support for setting up tenancy agreement

Needing a short term rental agreement while we waited for Probate, we were recommended Cubitt & West's office. I initially had a few calls with, Ciaran Street in the Crawley/East Grinstead area who took me through the process and then led the way on getting everything set up. The whole process was completely painless and I could do everything from the comfort of my own home. Ciaran's advice and him checking that I had everything set up as I needed, was invaluable and gave me the confidence that we were ready for my tenant to move in, safely and legally.

I sold via Auction with the help of Cailean in the East Grinstead office. Having had many years of bad experiences trying to sell, Cailean has completely restored my faith in Estate Agents. He has been in constant contact, recognising the particular timeline I needed to work too. When the solicitors were delaying, Cailean worked doggedly to ensure that completion was within the required timeframes, and acted as a fantastic interlocutor between myself and the buyers when the Solicitors seemed unable to agree on anything. Great experience from start to finish ! From valuation ,photos ,open day and handling offers we found the team ,Zoey ,Michael ,Julie and all others involved really professional. We had never sold a property before and after being in the same house for 34 years it was a daunting prospect. The team made all steps as easy as possible and kept us informed very regularly at every stage. We ended up getting numerous offers in excess of the asking price and would definitely recommend Cubitts for any property moves to family and friends.
