We had a pleasure buying through Alan de Maid in Bromley. It was not an easy ale as we had to sell our house (through another agency) and had a bit of a chain with some inexperienced buyers as well as unresponsive solicitors. Thanks to Teresa Hiscoke we were able to get to the finish line! She not only helped us to ensure her client stays with us but also pushed the whole chain through. We can’t recommend the staff at Alan de Maid Bromley (ADM) highly enough... We have used ADM on two occasions now, initially to buy our first property and more recently to sell the house when we were ready for our next move! Their fees / charges are very competitive and after we had the property valued there was no further pressure to list our property with ADM. We dealt with Teresa, Petrena and Franck all of which were fantastic. Franck was our primary agent. He was always very friendly, easily contactable and always provided regular updates. The sales team at ADM were simply outstanding. After many months of trying to sell I turned to ADM and they got me two offers in two weeks. I was based in Australia which could have made the process really tricky however the team at ADM made it so so easy, with regular updates, great advice and customer service going that extra mile with helping me being so far away. Probably the best customer service I have seen in years, extremely proactive in finding buyers not just waiting for buyers, doing what they say they will and communicating when they say they will - I can’t recommend Teresa, Petrena and the team highly enough. Exceptional service and an incredibly friendly team. After having such an horrendous experience with Purple Bricks, I opted for a local agent and met with a few. As soon as Petrena Brown visited me, I was so impressed with her professionalism, empathy and honesty that I signed there and then. I was not disappointed as Petrena is probably the best representation of what a great Estate Agent should be and a great asset to Alan de Maid. I was always kept updated and there was always an active dialogue; I never had to chase. Petrena and Alan de Maid represent integrity and honesty and tried to do the best for me to get my house sold. The house has now sold and it has been smooth running. The biggest mistake I did was choosing Purple Bricks, thinking it was the cheaper option. Petrena and the team worked hard for me and quite frankly deserve the commission. Very impressed!

The start of the tenancy was all fine and everything run smoothly. . However I moved out a month ago (4 days early ) and still have not received the rent for those 4 days that is owed to them despite the landlord promptly paying it. I had to even sort out my deposit return directly with the landlord as the property manager was inefficient and did not deal with mine or the landlords enquires. Such a shame as the office staff Natasha and Shayna at the start of the tenancy provided such a great service and it has been spoilt by delays and lies by others at the end. BE VERY WEARY Thank you Mike I will email you all the details as your colleagues have now ignored me for 2 days and I still have not received my rent refund.

From the very beginning the service with Alan de Maid was brilliant, I received a call from Bee from my enquiry via rightmove. She was brilliant, friendly, helpful. She helped me with my enquiry which led to a viewing, and then on to a us letting the property we viewed. Usually with estate agents, they are very landlord geared& not tenant orientated. This was not like that at all, throughout Bee ensured we were happy with the process, accomodated / brokered both landlord and tenant requirements. Made sure everything was done properly but with a positive approach which left us happy to have dealt with Alan de Maid. All round excellent service& we are moving in tomorrow! New home- Yipeeeee! Just want to say thank you guys for making us feel comfortable and secure throughout the process, I would recommend Alan de Maid to anyone and particularly Bee. Brilliant negotiator :))

My experience with Alan De Maid has been extremely positive. We had to find somewhere pretty quick and Harry Burge was extremely helpful with this. Harry was our negotiator with Alan De Maid and throughout he was consultative, informative, friendly and helpful. We had specific requirements that we needed from our home and Harry listened and put forward very accurate / appropriate properties. We viewed these properties quickly after requesting, and were given a full show around - he proved himself to be knowledgeable with both of the properties. The process was quick after deciding which one we wanted and Harry was always very contactable / transparent throughout. Tanya Johnson who works in the lettings team is very helpful also.
