Where to start! Ravina, Kerry and Mak were all exceptional at selling our house. In this current climate things won’t necessarily go to plan - you want an estate agent who can adapt, problem solve and have plan B and C when things don’t go as expected - which is exactly what they did. The service is very personal - we didn’t feel like just another house sale to them which we felt with other agents. They gave 100%. Customer service, expertise and professionalism were exceptional. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now!

Purchased a property through Alan de Maid. On the day of completion, I told Ravina the time my family and I would be at the property. We waited with our 6 month old baby for half an hour. Then to be told via email “I have left your keys with my collegue in branch as I am out on appointment”. The colleague would not come out as it was not “protocol” and she said that there was no one else available. Thankfully, a neighbour dropped me to Alan de Maid to get the key. Not only were there plenty of staff. But Ravina was there and was now telling me that they did not have the key. Worse still, she accused my surveyor of having it. Once that was disproved. She then blamed the seller and said if I needed a locksmith I can then make a claim against them via my solicitor. Not a great start, suing someone who would also become your neighbour. Ravina then went looking in the back office and returned with the key, without apology. Now, all of a sudden she wanted to come to the property, against their own “protocol”. All this time and embarrassment could have been avoided with better communication.

I feel I had good communication from my estate agent (Ravina F) managing my sale and that they helped progress it. Due to the slowness of solicitors, the communication was paramount in my confidence that the sale was progressing. The estate agent really put me at ease by explaining technical and legal jargon in layman's terms as well as advising on matters in my best interest where they were able to. Alan de maid price was was more reasonable than others with some charging double, I definitely feel they were good value for money and would recommend to others. I will now be popping into the office just to say hi as they were such a lovely team to deal with. Thanks Ravina!

Every member of the team I dealt with was consistently friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the proces, even if it was just passing on a message. I want to give special mention to my specific agent, Annie, who was absolutely excellent despite very challenging issues being presented throughout. She strikes the right balance between being professional and personable, which made a huge difference during a stressful sale and is what you want from an estate agent, in my opinion. From the start of our house buying journey to the end, the process with Alan De Maid was very smooth and professional. Franck was always very prompt with responses, would chase for any information requested and would call back straight away if he was already on a call or at another viewing for any questions that needed answering. He also knew a lot about every property he showed us and in a lot more detail than other estate agents. You could also tell that he was very passionate and hardworking about his work. Some of the other houses we've seen with other estate agents, in the same area, have been of a shocking quality. Not to mention always over priced. However with Alan de Maid we viewed many houses and all of them were of a high standard with very good prices. I agree with reviewer - A Frost. Not the experience I was expecting. From me personally, I’d say they were argumentative, defensive, insulting and abusive. They didn’t listen, lied (but as they didn’t listen, they’d probably put that down to “misunderstanding”) Their Delboy give us all your money attitude rubbed me the wrong way. I’ll never forget their comment “that’s how the market is. That was then, this is now, the market’s changed. I’ve seen 3 on that street go within days, we’ve already got 10 viewings booked, what even is your budget?” They don’t need me, clearly, from their attitude, but they should remember that WE don’t need them. Lettings: if you have a response, respond publicly. Tell everyone. Don’t bother telling me to get in touch. My money is elsewhere (and believe me, it’s above the asking price)

We had been looking for a house for a while, and ADM were the only agents who kept me us up to date with new instructions and would check in on us to see how our search was going. They also refrained from sending us random emails weekly with properties that did not match our requirements and really took the time to understand what we were looking for. This agency "managed" my house rental very poorly with no push for any rent increase over 8 years+ and no on-site visit during this whole period despite being a contractual obligation, probably due to agency being extremely lazy as well as corruption for having some form of relationship with my tenants. I strongly recommend you avoid using this agency.
