Tracey and Luigi recently took care of our recent remortgage. Their guidance was best in class, their customer service impeccable and everything was just effortless and proactive on their part. So many places try to just excel in one area such as expertise or the customer service, but between Luigi and Tracey, they've got both covered already. Chris came to value our property - we chose him as he was friendly & not pushy at all. A lot of other estate agents we discovered around BS9 would say “if you were on the market with us, it would put you in a better place if you wanted to bid on one of our other properties.” No mention of any of this from Ocean.Sam our sale agent was always happy and positive - extremely pleasant to deal with. He had great energy & you can tell he enjoys his job.Tanya who was in the final stage was great at keeping us informed about the chain & very friendly & explained the process well.

The actual selling of the house went well but the management of the process itself regarding advice and support was very poor. They are equipped when it’s an easy sale and all ok but were rather found wanting and it was as if we were an annoyance when asking for updates and managing the chain.Will not use these again
We appreciate your feedback, both positive and negative, it can always help us further streamline or improve our service. However, on this occasion, in the interest of full transparency, as is the reason for a 3rd part review site, we do not believe that your one-star review is justified. Your case file has been reviewed by our Sales Director. We believe that the team, including our highly experienced Move Managers, made every effort to achieve an exchange of contracts as soon as possible, as is our goal for all clients. Your buyer was in fact ready to exchange well within the current average time frame.We have Move Managers in each of our sales offices specifically to ensure the best possible customer care in what can often be a stressful and complicated time for all parties. The delay in this instance was caused by an investment buyer at the bottom of this chain. The whole team were involved with this sale and exhausted all possible means to expedite the matters via the estate agents and solicitors they were able to do so. It is clear from the comprehensive records that the office kept you informed of the progress, sometimes several times a day. It is disappointing the sale did not progress as swiftly we all may have hoped or expected, but hope your onward move has gone well. Thank you again for your feedback.Ocean

Lack of communication. Lack of response to phone calls, being told the named person was out of the office. The sale only progressed once I stated I wanted the property to be relisted. Very poor service.

I asked Ocean Estate Agents to find me tenants for a flat I own in Bristol.They responded immediately and asked me to submit information and relevant documentation.Within a few days they had found me tenants.They informed me of all the regulations required for letting out the flat. They inspected the property immediately. They obtained Tenancy references for the tenants and organised the Tenancy Agreement.They were very cooperative in every aspect and answered every question I asked.I could not be more satisfied with this efficient and experienced Company and highly recommend them.

The sale process was smooth and there weren’t unnecessary delays in the process. Unfortunately we felt that our move manager was speaking to the seller’s interest all the time. We were glad we didn’t go for their In-house lawyer as the discussions could’ve been even more one-sided although we’ve been told that in-house lawyers are from a different branch. Simple queries from us were made into complicated, very difficult to follow answers with legal jargon and it felt very frustrating at times giving off the impression that it was being done on purpose When we raised any issues, it felt staff were taking a very defensive approach on behalf of sellers . when we insisted this be discussed with the sellers , we almost always got positive response from sellers. There seemed to be a natural inclination to take the sellers side even without discussing with them. I wouldn’t deal with this agency again if possible

From the start we were impressed by the local knowledge and the acceptance that we wanted a good price rather than a quick sale. The photos were great including drone shots.The process of buying and selling is a nightmare, so use a good estate agent. We also used Ocean Legal and that helped tie it all together.Throughout the process they were on the case and always replied to worries and queries.
