Brilliant experience from start to finish.From being shown houses to collecting Keys, Oceans were amazing. When looking for houses, Matt had the hardest job. That being said he was patient with us, he did insist we view a house, even though I wasnt keen due to viewing online. Matt told us we needed to view and not go off photos.. im glad we did as now we live in that house! Oceans communication through our long and complicated process cant be faulted. They always kept us up to date with any progress and we didnt have to chase them once (which was a first in our chain) Lovely team, cant fault them, highly recommend.

Ocean were great from start to finish. I chose Ocean to sell my property as I had previously bought the property from them and am very pleased with the decision. The communication and support was great from Lawrence and the team, and we were able to complete on the sale within 8 weeks of listing it. Special thanks to Lisa who was my move manager and ensured I was always kept up to date as the sale progressed. Would highly recommend!

We chose Ocean because they successfully sold our parent's house and provided a good discount. Perhaps because we had a good discount, they stopped caring or making an effort to sell our house. The photographs taken were not very good. The viewings were poorly organised. Sometimes we would receive a text, giving us less than 24 hours notice. Sometimes we would get a call or an email, never consistent. Their method of cancelling also wasn't consistent, to the point that they didn't notify us on one occasion that a viewing had been cancelled in advance, leaving us to wait for the viewer to arrive but they never did. Apart from Dom, who was helpful and would always call, none of the rest of the team would call us to notify us of any updates. There was never an apology for any issues or inconveniences caused.In the end we decided to part exchange on a property. Despite the terms being very clear in our contract with Ocean (that we would not be charged their agent fee unless we were still within the contract period or if we sold privately through a buyer introduced by them), Ocean demanded that we would have to pay their charges in full. It was only because we agreed with our developer to continue using Ocean did they drop this. Very disappointing. We would not use Ocean again.

With regards to viewing notice, in a busy market, we will of course attempt to accommodate potential buyers who wish to view within 24 hours, we therefore alert sellers by text as soon as possible. Other viewing requests may allow for less urgent confirmation and would therefore be made by either telephone call or email. We were unaware of a prefered method for yourself but apologise for any confusion caused. Please accept our belated apologies for the 1 cancelled viewing, it is unclear at this time which of the circa 30 viewings this was. We were of course were working under additional pressures due to the Covid-secure precautions and this may have been a factor.It is unclear or known to us what inconveniences were caused, please contact us directly if you wish to discuss further. Your part exchange does not affect our contractual agreement, your sale & onward purchase retains the first time buyer introduced by Ocean estate agents, there is absolutely no contradiction to the legal contract. Despite repeatedly asking about viewing availability this Friday, your agent avoided answering this simple question. Instead, he spent 10 minutes asking irrelevant questions about mortgages and my property search timeline, even after I confirmed having spoken with a mortgage advisor and knowing my borrowing capacity.Only after wasting considerable time did the agent finally inform me that viewing wasn't possible. This unprofessional behavior and inability to address a straightforward inquiry is concerning.What a joke!Reply to reply:Thank you for your response and for taking the time to review this matter. However, I would like to clarify some key points regarding the situation, as there appear to be misunderstandings on your end.Firstly, the “no show” incident occurred because I never received any confirmation for the requested viewing. Without a clear confirmation, it was impossible for me to know whether I was expected to attend. In fact, I only received a call at the time of the scheduled viewing, during which I immediately explained that I could head over right away, though I would need approximately 15 minutes to arrive. Unfortunately, the agent informed me that they could not wait, which was the only reason I did not attend.Secondly, I would like to emphasize that the property I was inquiring about was not the Airbnb property you referenced in your response, but an entirely different one. Despite my attempts to clarify this distinction, the agent did not seem to acknowledge or address it. This miscommunication has now resulted in undue blame being placed on me, which I find both unfair and frustrating.I trust this provides clarity on my perspective and experience. I would appreciate it if this matter could be reviewed further to ensure accurate communication moving forward.Thank you again for your attention. The 2 agents who showed our home were wonderful! Joseph and Molly - I rate them very highly. Friendly, approachable, reliable and upbeat (even after months of showing our home).There was a misunderstanding originally with Ocean regarding the commission percentage as I had obtain their details from an online portal which meant there was an extra fee involved (GetAgent beware!).I also queried the advice given when it came time to reduce our price - the advice was to reduce the price in £50k increments, but we reduced it by £25k once and that seemed to do the trick.Ocean's legal team were very efficient.

He works hard to find me the best mortgage deals and if I have any concerns about my mortgage application he’s happy to resolve them for me. When the mortgage application is handed over to Claire she’s always chasing the process and keeping me updated, I’m always pleased with both of them work ethic. I would recommend them to anyone.

We moved into rented accommodation, having sold our house, after 50 years of home ownership. Charlie was very helpful in ensuring our move went as smoothly (and stress free) as possible.From the viewing until the signing of the tenancy agreement Charlie, provided a very helpful friendly and efficient service, guiding us through the whole process. There was a hiccup with the cleaning and Charlie arranged for the apartment to be professionally cleaned, it was spotless with all the carpets shampooed.Ocean provided excellent holiday cover over the Christmas period as when Charlie was on leave, Keith kept the process going and was available for help. This was in contrast to our buyers solicitors when everything stopped whilst the solicitor was on holiday, which could have resulted in losing the rental.We would be happy to recommend Ocean Lettings.

Not gonna lie, from start to finish these guys have been awsome! Both Liam & Emily are a credit to Ocean. After issues trying to sell my house for over a year with another Estate Agent in this area (who shall remain anonymous for now) Ocean took charge and delivered, selling the house in a couple of days. Emily went above and beyond in keeping me in the loop. I would 100% recommend these Estate Agents in Bristol.

He has sadly left but the Manager, Paul was very good in picking things up from Jack, and Demi their new Move Manager is excellent. She is very knowledgeable, re-assuring and super efficient. Flawless Service!My partner and I recently purchased a property and we were needing to rent our property we were living in. The buying process was quick and easy as well as regular updates from Liz each week on the progress of the purchase. We also used Ocean for the rent out our property which was a great option. James and Jemima went above and beyond from start to finish to get our property filled with tenants. I appreciate the work they put in, due to it being late nights and not in normal workings hours. They were at the property for every viewing without fail. From our perspective this was flawless service and we are using them to manage the property also. Thanks again James and Jemima.

We had a great experience with Ocean Property Lawyers. They do convenancing for all properties, not just those sold by their estate agent. The price was competitive and good value for the service we received.Our solicitor was Karen who was fantastic from start to finish. She went out of her way to ensure the process went smoothly, in spite of a major blunder by our mortgage advisor. I think it's safe to say we wouldn't have managed to complete on time without her support.The assistant team were also responsive throughout (special shout out to Emily) and it was always easy to get hold of someone with any questions.I would highly recommend Karen and the Ocean team to anyone purchasing a property!

Before putting our house on the market we invited 3 Estate Agents to give valuations and discuss their terms of business. We chose Ocean because we liked Clare’s easy and clear communication and felt the valuation was realistic. Ocean were excellent throughout the whole process, particularly when there were numerous hitches further down in the chain causing unexpected delays. They kept us informed very regularly and were proactive in dealing with buyers solicitors and agents. The service felt personal, professional and supportive and they achieved a good price for us despite a fluctuating market. We would have no hesitation in using Ocean again and recommending them to others. Particular thanks to Jenny for her ongoing communication with regular email and telephone updates and advice.
