This is the second time we work with Ocean State Agent.From the beginning Cleo and Melissa were very kind and professional.At the end of the process we had some difficulties to proceed and they had good communication skill to handle with our sellers, buyer, solicitors and us .They were very supportive in all fields.When I thought this property is not going to be for us , both of them were there supporting me as a good friend.Thank you so much for your time, your words and your patience .

The team were all helpful, but Debbie, who was my point of contact once the offer had been accepted, was fantastic!Unfortunately the solicitors were unhelpful and communicated poorly making things stressful. Debbie went above and beyond on numerous occasions to help me resolve problems, and get to the bottom of issues in order that we could progress the sale. I valued her time and help hugely, and dread to think what the process would have been like without her. Thank you so much Debbie!!One point to note, the Conveyancers reflect poorly on you as estate agents when you recommend them. They are terrible.

Fantastic Service from Ocean Letting!Ocean Letting has been absolutely amazing in helping us secure our new flat in Bristol! Huge shoutout to Jack, he’s been so friendly, quick to reply, and always there to answer all our questions. Honestly, as a tenant and professional, clear communication is everything, and Jack nails it every time. It’s been so easy working with him, and he’s made the whole process a breeze!Chantelle and Scott have also been super helpful, making the whole experience feel seamless. Can’t wait to move in this November! I’m thinking about leaving another review once we’ve have started our move-in process and we’re all settled in. Highly recommend Ocean Letting if you’re looking for a reliable and friendly team! :)

Dealing with one office for estate agents and solicitors all in one place where they also communicated easily with each other made everything easy. The software used by both parties were also very good. We knew about viewings, times, dates, clients & 2nd viewings. But the staff also kept us informed. We felt they listened to us. They were knowledgeable and patient. The legal side alsoHas a good software that we could log intoTo keep up with the status of the proceedings. ClareWas also very patient knowledgeable and understanding.Selling your property is never 'plain sailing' but the 'Ocean' team made it as painless as possible. Thanks to Paul ,Demi & Clare . Huge appreciation for all your hard work.

GoogleI began the process of selling my flat with getting three different quotes. Of those, Ocean came out on top for both quote and professionalism. I initially met Matt, who talked me through the process and put me at ease about how it would move forward. Within days Matt found me buyer. From then on I had the experience of liaising with different Ocean staff, from Ollie, Mike, Cleo and Nicola on front of house, all of which are superb. I would especially like to say, how I found most useful, being able to call and speak with Nicola, who keeps the whole process glued together. At a time when situations can become challenging and stressful, Nicola is there on the end of the phone and always reassuring. Other estate agents do not offer this level of service and is most helpful. To sum up, I found the Ocean experience a breeze and all staff extremely professional. As a result my flat was sold within five months. Thank you Ocean very much indeed. All the best to you, Tim Gilbert.

FacebookI am a little bit thrilled this morning, because I received the news from William Jenkins that I got the property in central of Bristol. I just want to say , thank you very much William from my deep heart. I have been looking for property for rental for nearly 2 months but there is no result. one part reason is because of the busy rental property market, and it is very difficulty to book for viewing. Everything gets easy until I met William. He is a very kind-hearted person. As you know my English is not very fluent, and he is very patient with all the process of my viewing property, applying for reference.etc. He is so professional on property, and he is an expert on the property. if anybody who want to rent or buy/sale property, I think you need his help. In summary, you are so kind and so professional, and wish you a good future.

I would work again with Matt and Debbie in a heart beat. Matt really helped us secure the property we wanted even though there were multiple bids. He wasn't a smoozy real estate agent at all, which my husband and I really appreciated, but felt very authentic so was a delight to deal with. And Debbie was our contact for all the buying details and was very communicative. She was always available for queries and answered any question we had quickly, so we felt in very safe hands.

GoogleI had a bit of a rocky start with my contract and employment check, which caused quite a bit of trouble. However, William Jenkins from Ocean Letting was patient and supportive throughout the entire process. I called a lot and raised numerous questions and issues, and he handled everything with professionalism and patience, we finally were able to resolve all the issues and move forward. It’s always frustrating to encounter problems, but it’s always satisfying to see them resolved!

Rang from their opening time (8.45am) to try and get through to book a viewing, repeatedly hung up on, waiting on hold only to be cut off. Finally got through 2.5 hours to be rudely told the property is fully booked (shock). We all know the lettings market in Bristol is crazy, but is there a need to be so rude?

Melissa is a breath of fresh air. She provided me with professional, factual and community information in a way that endeared her properties locations to me. I now feel drawn to rent and then purchase in this area trusting Melissa would help me find a home at the right time. Although, I'm not in a position to buy yet, this didn't dampen Melissa's enthusiasm and eagerness to answer all the questions I had. I will seek Melissa out when I'm ready to buy and recommend her for your purchasing experience too. Your home after all, is the most expensive and stressful purchase you'll ever make. Clearly, Melissa understands the value of building rapport and trust with potential customers so good business will inevitably follow. Melissa is a credit to the industry.

Andy was friendly, helpful and didn't rush me to put the house on the market after the photos were taken. There was very little feedback from Ocean from those dozen people who visitedt our property so no idea whether first time visit, or a repeat. House sold quickly, at advertised price, but buyers after surveyors report wanted to knock £25,000 off the price. I felt the agreed price by Ocean was fair, but felt a lack of support and enthusiasm to push the buyers into paying the amount I'd agreed on. After months of waiting for buyers various reports, they still wanted £25,000 off for no good reason. When Julie was there, I felt she was fully on my side, and after weeks of stress it was finally agreed at £10,000 less than original asking price, which included an estimate for a chimney problem I had offered to pay for at the beginning. Laura had a tough job with the conveyancing both with the buyers and our sellers, and did an excellent job in the light of so many difficulties.

GoogleOur experience with Ocean was that of a buyer. Our main contact Cleo has been wonderful in helping us throughout the buying process. We’ve had a host of very friendly and accommodating agents too - thank you Talia and Iona, with all our requests for viewings, questions, clarifications, and a whole lot of other things. It has made a very stressful process quite significantly less stressful. It also made us feel secure in the entire process. Very highly recommend.

We were recommended Luigi Lattuca from Ocean Mortgages by a family friend. I actually contacted Luigi via LinkedIn and was impressed by how quickly he replied and set up an initial meeting for us.We were first-time buyers and didn't think we would be able to buy a property in Bristol. Within a half an hour meeting with Luigi he had answered all of our queries around buying our first home, and gave us a clear plan of action.Even after arranging our mortgage, Luigi continued to support and answer any questions we had. We cannot thank him enough, and we will be recommending him to anyone that needs mortgage advice!

Our property sold very quickly, so I can't comment too much on that side (except that Sam and the team were very friendly and helpful in all communications!). But the real star for us was our move manager Sadie. We had a long chain (5 houses), where we were in the middle, and Sadie was great at chasing all the solicitors and keeping us informed of the progress. Unfortunately we had a last minute change of dates, and Sadie was key to getting the new date agreed quickly, and as completion approached she was keeping an eye on things for us even on a day off, so truly went above and beyond! We would definitely recommend Sadie and the whole Ocean team.

First of all, I was happy with the original valuation of the property, which sold at asking price. The sales process was long, and complicated by one or two factors outside anybody's control, but Jamie and Sadie were extremely helpful throughout, keeping me informed, always available to help with any queries and really going above and beyond to make the whole process run as smoothly as it could in the circumstances. Don’t expect your deposit back. Still waiting to hear back on our deposit being returned over 5 weeks after leaving the property. Agent is totally not interested and just says “we are awaiting the landlord”. Tenant Deposit Scheme states deposit should be returned within 10 days of vacating

Melissa was fabulous. There were some very slow inquiries sat with Oceans clients solicitor. Melissa continuously did everything in her power to chase up often calling as soon as she’d put the phone down to me and ringing me straight back with updates.There were a few hitches towards their end with agreeing completion date and indemnity policies etc but Melissa helped us through it all. Thank you for all your efforts and time - very much appreciated!

Jemima & James @ Ocean have been absolutely fantastic in the whole process of both offering and moving me into my new rental property. From the very beginning I met James who showed me around the property which I literally fell in love with immediately and expressed my interest in securing it. James was extremely friendly and attentive throughout the process and came back to me so quickly with the offer. I wanted to move in quickly and both James & Jemima did their best to meet my date requirements which was fantastic. They both went above and beyond with my additional requests. The process was pretty smooth considering I am new to the rental market. Upon handover I met Jemima for the first time. What a lovely young lady! She was so friendly, understanding and knowledgeable and explained everything on the move date. There were lots of follow up calls to check in on me and any issues have been picked up immediately for resolution. I cannot thank these guys enough for such a lovely experience. I love where I live and am really happy. I would love to deal with them again, if only everyone was this helpful. Thanks guys you are both amazing!

Ocean have earned their money from us - we have been selling my Mum's house for over a year and it completed last Friday on the 3rd sale. A bumpy ride at times, but house selling is a stressful process. Some personalities at Ocean easier to deal with than others, but the contacts we eventually worked with were really friendly and helpful and gave the impression they genuinely cared. A special mention to Nicola the 'Move Manager'. I was sceptical to start with, but what an asset she was. She kept everything moving along with the sale, quickly chasing up any tardiness. It was encouraging to have someone to regularly check in with, especially when not much seemed to be happening. But we got their in the end - thank you.
