Avoid at all costs, terrible customer service and no sincerity whatsoever. Property Management, will delay repairs etc... without so much of an apology. The contractors they use, are rude and unprofessional. Couldn't wait to move out and hand back the keys.

Very little response, unless chased via phone and email. Phone calls are not often answered. Quality of the service is poor with the contract stating that regular inspections are carried out, however this has been proven otherwise and the complaint manager stated in her response that the agents are not "building specialist", hence your investment is managed from people who don't have the skills to tell a a damp patch from a leak. After been unable to even raise a formal complaint, this estate agent is not publishing their complaint procedure on their website, I am now having to use an insecure site to unsubscribe from their newsletter. Enjoy the pictures of the perfectly habitable bedroom and of the error on their certificate. Edit: I have been personally requested to edit out my review from the third parties involved. Edit: last week we were notified of a substantial amount of money pending on our closed account, apparently Your Move forgot to move the electricity account in the name of the new tenants, even after we had communicated to the electricity company we didn't live to that address since the end of August and the electricity company specifically said we need to wait for the estate agency to communicate that to us. One of the worst Estate Agents in Brighton. Throughout our whole tenancy we were just ignored by them. However, this wasn't the worst thing as the employees don't actually know how to help anyway. Our tenancy ended on the 3rd of July and they refused to give us our deposit back because the Landlord wasn't giving permission to do so. Each time we called the employees didn't know where our money even was and just kept saying they can't get in contact with the Landlord so cannot help us. The UK laws state that tenants have to get a checkout inventory and their deposit back within 23 days. So kept calling and calling to get our thousands of pounds back that this estate agent was trying to steal from us. The same pathetic answer was "We cannot help until the landlord gives us permission". So we went to the company holding our deposit and filed a complain as it has now been a month. Our money is still no where to be found due to the Landlord disappearing. Through out our whole tenancy we were told that this woman owns hundreds of properties around Brighton and lives aboad and that she is one of their favourite Landlords that they deal with, that she always fixes things within the property (lets not mention the mould issue we had that was never fixed, or our pigeon problem that made the flat unhygienic) and always replies straight away. Unsure whether it was the Landlord or the Estate Agents that were trying to get away with such illegal activities and trying to steal their customers money but either way stay away from this Agency as all they do is ignore you and then try steal your money. The Landlord's name is Helen Leigh. If you're going to rent 53 Montpelier Road or any other of her properties DON'T.
