WITHHOLDING RENT FROM A RECENTLY WIDOWED LANDLORD, DISGUSTING Absolutely appalled by Your Move Brighton The manager Dominique should be ashamed of how you have treated my recently widowed aunt after fobbing her off for weeks, they are now withholding rent money that belongs to her, Instead of supporting a vulnerable client during an incredibly difficult time, they are keeping her funds. We have been forced to hire a solicitor just to get the money she is legally owed. Completely heartless, zero communication, and utterly unprofessional. Avoid this company at all costs

I have had my properties let through Your Move for well over a decade, the latter part entirely through the Brighton office, after the Worthing Office was closed. Since the change of lettings manager in the office I have been pleased with the service on lettings; it has been efficient and helpful. The response is rapid, assessment of rental value realistic and requests for extra information readily forthcoming. The biggest problem I have with the lettings is the national policy of charging a month's rent if I wish to change agent, even if the tenant has been there for many years, as a "finders fee". This is in their contract and non-negotiable. Of course it is not a problem unless you wish to change agent, which I did under the previous lettings manager. The property management has been nothing less than superb through my time with Your Move. The present property manager is understanding, efficient, knowledgable, helpful...well, actually words fail me. There have been various problems with the properties over the years and she has brought me through. It is impossible to recommend the property management too highly.

After my excellent tenants of three years ( also provided by Yourmove ) left I was totally daunted by the task of replacing them as I now live in Spain and certainly did not want to fly back in these Covid times ! However Daniel and his team organised everything including Gas Certificate Electrical repairs and then certificate and then of course viewings. Even my previous tenants told me the viewings were done totally unobtrusively in accordance with their wishes as the had just had a baby. The first couple dropped out but within a few days they found a new couple who moved in last week. I used the tenant find only service and what could have been a very stressful experience was ameliorated by the professional yet friendly efforts of Daniel and Myles Thank you !PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism
