GoogleI have rented a flat through Parsons Son and Basley for some time and had very positive experience with the agency. The whole of Lettings team, in particular Jessica, Rachel and Ben have been of great help in resolving any and all issues that I’ve had, they have been attentive, proactive and highly professional every time I dealt with them. I thoroughly recommend their agency for potential landlords and tenants in the Brighton and Hove area.

GoogleI must disagree with any of the negative comments written below as I have nothing but outstanding service from Parsons Son and Basley's lettings and sales departments. Perhaps the personnel have changed since those reviews were written as I have found their staff to be extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful in providing their service to me. I have been a landlord with them for nearly two years and found Julian Bishop particularly impressive. I have always been given clear and accurate advice which is important when you are letting our your home and I was never made to feel a nuisance however many times I asked questions or clarifications which happened to me with my previous letting agent. The time came this year to sell my property and I must say that being able to both dealt with lettings and sales in the same estate agents has been marvelous for me. They have been able to advise me on all aspects relating to sale and to make the best solution for both myself and the existing tenants. Hugh Tucknott has been amazing with the same of my house, always responded immediately to my emails (i prefer to do things by email than phone as I live outside of the UK) and been extremely efficient and productive. He quickly uploaded my properties details ready for sale and we were lucky enough to have an offer within 4 months thanks largely to Hugh's tireless efforts. I would certainly recommend Parsons Son and Basley to anyone and when I purchase my next property this is where I will come to.

GoogleI had a great experience working with these guys. I've had a few bad experiences with letting agencies in the past, but I didn't have a single issue in the two years that I worked with these guys. They were super friendly and professional, and very responsive. I was mainly in contact with Brooke. She's been super helpful and very responsive, and she made my check out process as stress-free as possible. Unfortunately, I had to move to London; otherwise, I would have continued renting from them. I would highly recommend them if you are after a letting that cares about you.PositiveResponsiveness

GoogleI have been using Parsons, Son & Basley for two years now, primarily their lettings department. The service has been excellent, no qualms in giving 5 stars - really prompt, responsive and excellent advice has always been available and invaluable, particularly appreciated given it had been the first time I had rented out a property. As per E Delo's comments, Julian has been particularly outstanding - really professional, knowledgeable and patient. More than happy to recommend.

GoogleI highly recommend PS & B's letting service. They found me a new tenant on the 1st day. Both Ellie and Hannah we efficient and professional in everything they did. They arranged for some maintenance to be undertaken the my property, as well as the Gas and Electric inspections and the whole process was fast and seamless. Many thanks to them for their efforts.

FacebookI have never met a more arrogant and unprofessional group of people in my life. Full of egos and pumped up positions, that at the end of the day couldn't even get the paintbrush out of a packet of painting by numbers! You'll be best watching a 1970s 're run of The professionals to see more action!! We have had the misfortune of excuse the inverted commas of dealing with this bunch. 6 years later we are still waiting for jobs to be done. We do the jobs and they pay for the fact they do nothing. Even the freeholder recognises their lack of professionalism and lack of direction. I'm amazed they can get the bus into work! They fob you off with magical bed time stories. Pluck figures out of the air after counting on the company abacus and hope you don't notice the difference! Nice to see they had a Christmas do. Us leaseholders spent Christmas on a Rota keeping the crumbling staircase up! great to see a new PSB car parked up on their adverts! Guess that's where their professional fees go..shame they couldn't have driven over to see the work they don't do! oh and don't bother commenting on their FB page, the truth hurts so the comments get removed. The owner is appalling in his manner by refusing to communicate with you saying he will leave it to his competent staff! Seriously? One sharpens the pencils, one buys the donuts, one asks what aren't we doing today and another puts the kettle on. oh and the top dog of the day looks up who to bully and intimidate that day as who to threaten with bailiffs. Avoid this company at all costs. They consider themselves to be in charge of your life saying at one point to me " This is what you signed up for and if you can't afford it best you speak to your mortgage company"!!! What the heck...it would be like the bin men asking if I could afford to buy fisn n chips on a Friday!! Steer well clear...hopefully they will be gone soon and we can get a truly professional team who actually want to be recognised as excellent property managers. we can't wait as leaseholders.
I feel exactly the same! I am so angry! October 18th 2019 I first reported my ceiling leaking in my flat and I understand this is because the roof is in desperate need for replacement/full repair. In the words of one of the contractors “it’s like a patchwork quilt up there” and it’s needed doing for some time.Almost a year down the line, still NO work been carried out. I still dread rainy days and since last year I have to have 3 buckets lined up in case it leaks. After much chasing the recent email I had from them I feel is absolute disregard. They’ve known for well over a year that roof needs bloody doing. I’m dreading winter

GoogleI rent out out two flats in Brighton, they are managed by Liam Percival who is excellent, along with the rest of his team. Nothing is too much of a problem and all requests are dealt with immediately. Highly recommended

GoogleNot good. Tenant moved out. Flat remained empty for 4 months. I paid to have it decorated. Over 2k. Still no tenants. Changed agent. Let immediately. Was with PSB for over a decade. Unsure why the service became poor. New agent got a higher rent too . Currently not enough experienced staff maybe?
