GoogleWe had a great experience with our recent house purchase with Brand Vaughan. As first time buyers we had no idea what to expect, but were guided excellently by Dee throughout the whole process. We got quick responses to any questions we had and found communication stress free. Would definitely recommend!

I have been with this agency for about 3 years, and as far as there are no problem with the property and you pay your rent, they only contact you for renewals and not much else. I reported a leak 2 years ago, after all this time they haven't done anything, not even pretending. Now is time to renew the contract and they want to increase the rent £100 but without fixing the leaks (now there is more than one). Contacted them, few of the members, and even one of the managers and the just pas the ball to each other, no one is taking responsibility and the ceiling will fall one of this heavy rain days. Be careful with this agency....

GoogleWe chose Felix in the Brighton, Kemp town branch, to help us sell our house, in May of this year, 2024. Within one month we had a buyer and a good offer which we agreed. The period of time btw agreeing sale and completion can be, as anyone who has done this knows, a time fraught with hassle and uncertainty and anxiety. Felix really proved his worth, by steering us & the buyer, calmly & steadily through this process, helping the communication btw us both and our Solicitors, bringing us to to a successful completion 3 weeks ago. We really chose well and we'd very much recommend Felix from Brand Vaughan Kemp town, Brighton, to anyone, he clearly loves his work and takes pride in it, and it was a pleasure to work with him.

Just rented our first flat as a couple. We had some worries about the process and how things are supposed to be but their system and the team were most helpful and it was a smooth process. Especially Joshua who handled the majority of our tenancy process was really fast and helpful in answering our questions and guiding us on the way. Also Omar and Laura were really kind to us when we met at the office for key collection.

I would, without reservation, recommend Harry Mishon if you want to sell your property quickly, easily and professionally. Having recently sold a couple of properties with Harry, I can't sing his praises enough. He did not just sell the properties but despite the challenges we had to overcome, he was a constant support. He never ceased to be available for contact and communication and effectively "held my hand" throughout the entire process from valuation to exchange/completion. I would vote him as "estate agent of the year." I would, without a doubt, look to Harry for any future house sales/purchases.

I have been renting a Student house in Brighton for several years through Brand Vaughan's Student Lets department. They have found a constant stream of tenants well ahead of time so that the property has been let without any empty periods. Their Maintenance Department is second to none, Lizzy Van Orden has looked after the property for several years and has gone the extra mile to make sure everything runs smoothly. I have recently sold the property through their sales department which again has been excellent. They found a buyer very quickly and when things were not working out were quite prepared to remarket. In the end things got resolved and the sale went through. They know the market and have developed a highly efficient and user friendly way of doing things. Highly recommended with many thanks. Jan C.

GoogleBased on my experiences with Brand Vaughan as a buyer and seller over the last 10 years I can confidently say that they have been nothing but first class and in many ways superior to some others I have experienced. In my case, Michael and his team in Kemptown have been consistently brilliant at bringing in potential buyers and have delivered every time. Timothy, the in-house sales progressor is simply the best at communicating and leading both parties and their solicitors through the process and is professional, knowledgeable and very easy to deal with. Me and my husband just arrived here in Brighton last 12th of May 2022. We rented a flat to stay for a month and started searching for a long term place to live nearby the Royal Sussex County Hospital, since we will be working there. We started viewing flats and sending applications to different agencies. Then, Joshua Jiminez from Brand Vaughan called to tell me that our application was approved by the landlord. From that moment until now, Joshua has been very patient and helpful in our application. We are so happy that we entrusted someone who has integrity and compassion with people who are in need of his high quality service. Due to this, we referred Brand Vaughan to our trust's housing manager for our colleagues who are still searching for their long term homes here in Brighton. Overall our experience with brand Vaughan has been extremely stressful and caused us all significant unexpected financial stress, if 0/5 was an option that is what I’d give them. On the viewing we were not told about needing to pay a months rent (£700) 5 months prior to our student loans being paid. I don’t know where any company expects students who are working part time to pay £700 upfront without a student loan. Especially when this is not explicitly expressed. There is 0 empathy for our situation and no respect when it comes to the honest mistake made by the letting agent who failed to inform us of not only a holding deposit, but also the first months rent and security deposit. Meaning have paid £838 before even stepping foot in the door for a single room in a extremely average house. Not only that but we were also told the incorrect rent in the viewing. This agent LOVES to use manipulative language in their marketing to ensure that people view properties thinking they are affordable when actually they cost potentially hundreds more each month. Honestly, I would never trust this company, they do not provide you with any empathy or security. Moving out of home for the first time with these cowboys as your bridge to your (rogue and unempathetic) landlord has been an extremely stressful process.

Very poor service all round. Have used in the past to buy and sell and was previously very pleased but not any more.Asked to value my property, they turned up over 20 minutes late with no call to advise me of this. Valuation was promised by the end of the day and still has not arrived 2 days later.Company appeared arrogant and not interested as they have so many properties to sell. Very good at saying how wonderful they are but with this level of service it will not last long. Avoid - there are many better agents in Brighton.
