As another estate agent it is not common for us to write a review for another estate agent but in this case I absolutely had to. I have been in the industry for 25 years and the levels of service have really fallen through the floor, however if you are looking for those high standards to be kept then having just been through a process in a chain with Brand Vaughan their incredible staff member Dee was exceptional throughout. If not for the tenacity, great communications and calmness of Dee the whole chain would have collapsed. Also Felix in the branch is an exceptional agent too which goes to show if you want a team that will look after you from the start to the end of the process then know you are in the best hands with this team as I have been truly impressed at how they operate. Highly recommend.

Friendly & Helpful

We had a really short time to secure a property and out of all the letting agents we reached out to Brand Vaughan were definitely the most helpful. Connor was great and regularly sent me new properties that had been added and once we found one we liked the process was really easy and everyone was very helpful. Lucy who showed me around the property was really lovely and made sure to explain the process and what the next steps were and a shout out to Kamila who was handling our application all done super quick and easy. Dee, Felix and Holly were on our team in the Kemptown office. We set them a difficult task - sell our rented flat first then ours subsequently. Despite MANY ups and downs and two COMPLETELY useless sets of solicitors they succeeded and we are now settled in our new house and very thankful we had them on our side, particularly Dee who is the most tenacious, supportive and determined of estate agents … without her continued dedication and can-do attitude we wouldn’t be were we are now. Lucy was very friendly and smiley despite a few problems with the keys! This was sorted quickly as she was able to collect the keys from the client instead of rescduling which would have been very inconvenient. Once inside she was helpful and knowledgeable answering my questions and even though there was a backlog of people outside waiting I didn't feel rushed at allThankyou very much for your help 😊

Inequality opportunity.

The actual viewing was smooth however i am disappointed for i wasn't given a QR code like other applicants and i got to learn about it much later that there was a QR code while viewing the flat. I called to express my continued interest after viewing and requested for the application form to be sent over which wasn't. I called again later only to be informed that the landlord had moved on with an applicant. I am highly disappointed for i wasn't given an equal opportunity with all other applicants. This was in Peacehaven, Brighton.

Worthing - Unfortunately they do not communicate…

Unfortunately they do not communicate between themselves so tell you all different things. They now use an external company for referencing which automatically fails credit checks so you have to pay for them to garentor (even if you have a personal garentor). They are quick to chase you for information but will not respond when you request something. Definitely research before handing money to them as they do not stick to the laws around renting.
