AVOID this agency

If you are a student or a parent of a student or young person thinking of renting property from Brand Vaughn in Brighton don't. The property my son and his friends rented was nothing like the images they had been shown. It was in a state of disrepair and filthy. Despite this the company still tried to charge exit fees for professional cleaning in excess of £700 plus other bogus claims to the tune of £800. Further to this they are uncaring - and never even gave the house a proper set of locks on the door. This company is well known in Brighton by the Renters union and the council.. but they say there is nothing they can do- but you can.. save yourself a lot of grief and AVOID them.

Property has still not been cleaned after last tenants

So following my two previous reviews of Brand Vaughan they have still not sorted out the deep clean of the property. Now 20 days later and it's disgustingly filthy.BV have not been telling us the truth at all. We are just getting ignored by mgmt and being treated appallingly.

Lied to and kept in the dark, robbed of the property and our holding deposit

Weren't informed well at all, we were told nothing but good things by the agent telling us our offer had been accepted and all our circumstances were fine and then after we paid the holding deposit they revealed we needed a guarantor with 50 grand in savings and couldn't pay money upfront despite the fact we were told earlier we could. Scammed.
