GoogleI use the Big Yellow storage Brighton on a commercial basis for my business. I am overwhelmed by the professional service that they constantly deliver. The parcel collection service is worth its wait in gold to me. I work on the road and I now no longer have to wait in for my deliveries: meaning that I can get on with my work, knowing that my parcels will be received and held in a safe place for me. All the staff are very professional and friendly and staff moral is great. I would completely recommend the Big Yellow from a commercial point of view. Having the Big Yellow to store my business has made my home a home again and I can switch off from work when I go home which has been invaluable to me.

GoogleDon't go with this company! , they lead you into a false sense of security & then you sign a contract , then its too late . The charge is high , its even higher as its every 4 weeks instead of month , they are the only ones that do this. They send you invoices 2 weeks before they are due & then charge you 10 % if you are 12 days late paying the bill. If this happens , they lock you out & put a padlock on your stuff . Dont bother trying to call them , it will just go to a voice mail. I don't know who writes the reviews, but I don't think it can be customers

GoogleI have used Big Yellow Self Storage on Coombe Road, Brighton for a number of years now as I required storage space. The premises are clean and well maintained and extremely secure. The on-site staff are incredibly helpful, calm and organised. I have always received a very professional but friendly reception from the staff and management. Their advice regarding unit size required is always pretty accurate. It gets very busy with the turnaround of student population at the start and end of the local college and university term times so be sure to reserve your unit ahead of when you require it if around these busy periods.

GoogleStaff very helpful and checked what I had and suggested a smaller unit which saved me money shows they are not in it for the money I would highly recommend big yellow to anyone staff very helpful and welcoming and alway had a smile on their faces. Well done keep up the good work.

GoogleReally clean & secure but very expensive. They quote excluding insurance but insist on insurance so you have to pay the advertised fee plus that. I found storage insurance somewhere else for less than they offered. Also pad locks much cheaper anywhere else. You can also find cheaper places where you have less access, big yellow are open really just business hours so realistically you just have access at weekends anyway. They're not good at answering the phone & I've had to go back a few times because they didn't do paperwork properly. Your stuff is secure but it costs a lot, certainly more than they advertise.

Staff always went out of their way to be helpful even when request wasn’t part of their job or a service that they offer. Great 2 years of storage at this place. Thanks especially to Charlie!

GoogleI visit this place about once a week, the staff are nice and helpful - to a point. But my issue with the place is they never have enough trolleys and they often only have one lift working. This leads to long delays and squabbles amongst the customers over the trolleys!! They only have 6 large trolleys there, and they insist they don't have room for more, as if!! Why they don't buy more trolleys is beyond me, its like they don't want to help their customers at all. Ridiculous.

GoogleHaving used Big Box 4 years ago on our last downsize project I was amazed at the difference at Big Yellow. Not only did I get treated like I was a welcome customer, but the staff member who handled our enquiry had listening skills too, and managed to suit all of our requirements including price by actually talking to us. I didn't bother to go away and get another quote. None of the things I list now apply at Big Box. The storage unit and corridors are well lit, and warm. The electronic door entry and exit system is excellent and means our individual unit is alarmed not just the whole warehouse. The staff make eye contact and smile. The process is fast and sensible. The price is right. Well done Big Yellow!

GoogleI put my stuff into storage here recently. I was assisted by a lovely staff member called Lisa, she provided a great service 10/10 would recommend. Edit to add: I ended my storage today and was provided excellent service by Paul who checked me out and refunded unused days. The trolleys provided are super handy too.

GoogleOne of the better storage facilities in Brighton as far as service goes, and I should know as I visit them all frequently when helping customers store and retrieve their things. Can’t comment on their prices but friendly staff, conveniently located, and well equipped.
