Following a detailed review of the relevant file, our internal notes appear to outline a different view to your own in terms of how events unfolded throughout this transaction . These notes are recorded in real time as matters progress and cannot be amended thereafter. Time is of the essence when progressing any sale and the local office have followed up regularly throughout this transaction. Whilst it may have taken some time from sale agreed to exchange, it will depend upon how many parties are involved in the chain (we made your Mother aware of this from the outset) and any legal issues which may arise during the process. We can only be guided by information passed on to us by third parties and sometimes this can change, dependent upon circumstances. Please bear in mind also, mortgage rates have reduced recently, thus resulting in the new mortgage application for your buyer. Whilst this may have held up proceedings by a short period of time, it did not result in the long delay in which you refer to.In my opinion, based on the evidence on file, I feel we have acted in your best interests throughout this sale. However, we recognise you feel let down and have made recompense as a gesture of goodwill. Following a detailed review of your file, I note there is evidence of regular communication throughout this transaction. Notes outlining conversations are recorded in real time as matters progress and cannot be amended thereafter. It does appear the main method of communication was by email, as opposed to direct phone contact and I notice at one point, you may not have been included in the correspondence.
