Our Lettings Consultant, Eleanor, initially demonstrated great accommodation. When the first apartment didn't meet our needs, she promptly arranged another viewing within hours and patiently addressed all our questions. Unfortunately Beresfords made an oversight in the contract's start date which coincided with a holiday, which luckily we caught in time. As they were closed on the holiday and were not available to hand over our keys, we had to advance our move in by a day despite our prior nonrefundable payment for the Airbnb we were staying in. Although inconvenient, we accepted this graciously. However, when we requested a slight adjustment to accommodate a furniture delivery by advancing the start date by another day, it was denied, revealing a notable inflexibility in their approach.

Firstly, I am sorry that the original date set for you to move in was in fact a Bank Holiday, but it's great that you were able to be flexible in moving the date forward very slightly. I am sorry that you were then unable to move the date again to accommodate a furniture delivery, but ultimately we have to take instructions from our landlords and do not, as agents, have any legal right to move dates ourselves.
