What Mr Moroney was trying to do?
Mr. Moroney signed up as "Phil Murray" with 99home Ltd.
Listed a property which is currently with "Auction House" (one of the 99home competitors)
Mr. Moroney is not the property owner so he failed to provide AML and ownership documents.
Knowing the fact that you can list a property with 99home only if you are the property owner or have authority but seems like Mr. Moroney has some other intention and failed all compliance checks.
56-year-old, Mr. Moroney knows that he is doing wrong, instead of resolving the matter peacefully and complying with the legal requirements, he started with discriminatory remarks and threatening the 99home team.
Here is what he has written:
As you have not refunded me, I am going to ask my entire office to give you bad reviews on Google and trust pilot. I notice you keep saying my reviews on trust pilot aren’t real.
Mr. Moroney wrote his Trustpilot review as Andy Linton and a few reviews on Goggle with different names.
This is a shame Mr. Moroney, a well-educated and, professional doing this kind of fraud activity.

We have investigated the review and this seems to be a fraud case. The property listed with us does not belongs to Phil Murray or Andy Linton. Also called up at the number provided to us which confirms that they don't have any person from the above names working there. We are reporting it to police and then NCA for the fraud.

We used 99home to list our house directly in the main property portals. We opted by their hands off cheap package and did everything ourselves. The description, the photos, the viewings. It was very satisfying to have full control of the process. All the buyers really appreciated talking to us directly over WhatsApp rather via an intermediary.We had 5 offers within 2 weeks of listing and sold for £25k above the asking price.99home as a platform is a bit ugly and the user interface could use an upgrade, but it gets the job done with 100% control. We wrote a very personal description, far superior to what an average estate agent would do.The only complaint would be that it took a bit of time from the moment we clicked go live to it being live in the portals. They took a while to verify my identity and I had to do some chasing over the phone. But generally good service and the freedom it gives you is very worth it.I recommend it if you want to own the sales process from beginning to end.

I have found 99home a very efficient company to place your property with. I am a landlord and I have used their services for four years now. They list properties in all major portals and the response is amazing. Much better than going through an agent especially when the market is buoyant. I recently advertised a flat to let in Shirley and I found a good quality tenant in 2 days and he has provided me with an excellent reference from his employer and ex landlord. I would recommend any landlord to advertise with 99home as they give an excellent service.

GoogleMy property was removed from Rightmove 3 times during its time for sale. This is because they only have a set number of spaces to the site. By doing this they cost me sales of my home. Each time they made an excuse as to why it had happened again. On a number of occasions I asked friends to make enquiries and these were not sent to me by 99 home. It's tantamount to fraud. To too things off they cc'd me in an email to all of their current vendors asking if they wanted to extend their advertising package and breaching data protection rules. I then contacted them requesting a refund and I have been ignored since then by their operations manager Komal. I will now be complaining to the Omsbudsman.
