Good online presence very quickly. 13 viewings and 3 offers in a fortnight! Anil Sharma at 99Home has provided an outstanding service. Emails always answered promptly and a high degree of professionalism mean that I would not use anyone other than 99Home. I’ve used high street estate agents in the past, but I won’t ever again as the service with 99Home is far superior. Of course, the very reasonable fee structure is a massive draw, but combined with a 5 star service, I simply wouldn’t use another firm.

Stressful, inaccurate and unprofessional

We were forced into using 99homes to sell our shared ownership home by Bromford Housing. The entire experience has been stressful, inaccurate and unprofessional.They advertise that you get a dedicated account manager. If we have one, I don’t know who they are. Whenever we phone, we’re told that we have to wait for a call back within 5 minutes. We wait hours and no one calls.When we accepted an offer on the house via their website, there was no communication to us whatsoever. After chasing them on a number of phone calls to find out what we needed to do next, we were told that we had to wait 3 days for an email asking us for information. We waited 4 days and received nothing, so we had to go through their standard practice of “we’ll call you back within 5 mins” and then us calling again to say “you didn’t call back”. I don’t understand how it could possibly take the best part of a week to send what should be an automatic and standardised email.Worse than all of the this, two major details of the sale were listed incorrectly. The first we noticed straight away and got changed, they had listed our two bed property as a three bed. The second we only noticed after we had already accepted an offer on the sale, and that is that the rental figure charged by the housing association was listed as £100 per month less than the correct figure. We’re now worried that our buyer will pull out as a result and that we may have to go through the lengthy and stressful process all over again.Finally, I have to mention the low quality of the calls themself that we have experienced. I’m not sure where their call centre is exactly, however nobody that I have spoken with speaks English as their first language. When the phone is answered, you often get 3-4 seconds of a loud rustling sound before somebody speaks, then when they do, their thick accent and broken English makes understanding anything that they say extremely hard to understand.I would not recommend 99homes to anybody based on my experience.
