GoogleI had an extremely negative experience with 99 Home Ltd. They attempted to scam me and even tried to take me to court over a property they had already sold. Their practices are dishonest and unprofessional. Avoid this company at all costs. Terrible company.

I realized it was odd not having received ANY viewing requests in over a month, so I run a few tests pretending to be a potential buyer: there is no way to get a viewing request sent from Zoopla, my property is not listed on Rightmove (despite having paid for that) and it doesn't even appear on their 99home website!!!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I previously submitted a review of this company that has been removed as I was unable to evidence a telephone conversation.I will keep this review short and factual. When I previously submitted a negative review of this business I received an amount of correspondence from a manager that I found to be aggressive - to the point I requested they stop contacting me on two separate occasions.In response to your query, if you send me an email address, I will forward the correspondence.

In your case, nothing happened as you bank didn't processed all the transactions (inc IKEA, Amazon, Waitrose etc) Please, tell us where we are at fault? We can understand that not everyone is tech-savvy hence we had given you to list property for free and pay us later but it seems you were more interested in putting a review rather than understanding the situation. If there would be zero, this would be my rating. They are the admin office and not an agency. Of course, you would not be wanting to pay high fees for that task. From Buyers perspective, we were never explained how they operate meaning that all viewings, negotiations, follow up is done directly with the Seller. They do not have the same boundaries as other real estate agencies respecting the role and work of solicitors and mortgage brokers. They don't issue Memorandum of Sale unless they have a proof of a deposit, mortgage in principle and proof of the ID that usually is done by solicitors and mortgage brokers. If you have Sellers who don't know boundaries as well, you may end up receiving calls and e-mails every day as they do not manage relationships. If choosing to buy a house marketed via 99home, I would clarify the roles and responsibilities and set the boundaries with the Seller. From personal perspective, we will not be buying homes advertised with this agency.

We can understand your frustration, unfortunately, your offer was not accepted by the vendor.Though it's a negative review but you have mentioned lots of positive points for those who want to use 99home to sell or let their properties. Venders and landlords can see that we are following HMRC (AML) guidelines as well as vetting prospective buyers and tenants so a sales or let doesn't get fall through. Unlike other agents, we do not pester buyers or vendors with over communication or upsell. All tasks are done in a very professional manner, that's why our success rate is way higher than our competitors. After a sale falling through with a high street agent (because I wouldn't accept the 10% down valuation) as well as giving a south African online agent a chance to sell my property (big mistake) they tried to get me to drop my property 15% after lockdown and wanted a £5000 fee for the privilege. I thought I can sell this myself and after finding out about 99homes through Martin Lewis website I thought what have I got to lose it's worth a punt and I'll give it ago as there is no sole contract period to be tied into. I've never sold a property before but was confident I could sell it myself once it was on right move . From what I've seen whilst viewing properties myself, estate agents are not worth their extortionate fees. They know very little if not nothing about the property being viewed and do not seem that interested during viewings.No one knows a home and the area better than the owner of a property and no one else will put as much effort into selling it as you! The whole process of creating the advert was straight forward and verification of documents didn't take long. Everyone I spoke to at 99homes was friendly, efficient and proffessional. Less than 24 hours after my advert went live I had a viewer and accepted an offer for the asking price. The process was simple enough to create a memorandum of sale. I would never go with any other estate agent in future after seeing how easy it was with 99homes not to mention that I also saved £3-5000 in estate agent fees. My friends can't believe it when I tell them I sold my property for £94.50 (I had an NHS 10% deposit). I hope as many people as possible find out about 99homes as they really do show high street estate agents up for being overpriced. Thank you to everyone at 99homes who helped me.
