GoogleDodgy. They said my deposit was refundable but they didn’t plan to refund it. The agent kept ignoring my emails and whenever I called the office he would ask his colleagues to say he wasn’t in. If not for the intervention of my bank, I wouldn’t have gotten my deposit back. Beware!

GoogleOmg! That’s all I can say. I was having so much trouble with finding a living place for myself and was being sooo stressed about it.. I honestly thought I won’t be able to find anything by the time I need to move out from the place that I was currently living in but then by accident I found ‘ Tristram’s Sales and Lettings’ company and saw that they were renting a place that I really liked. So I gave them a call and the person who helped me with the whole ‘ finding a place to live situation’ was Luke. Lovelies guy! Helped me so much, explained me everything detail to detail. Flat had been heavily used (including the oven) by builders and not cleaned. A wholly unprofessional service at every touch point.

Thank you for your review and feedback. We apologise if you are unhappy with our service, and we will take your feedback on board.
I have looked into the matter further for you and can see that the deductions that were made to your deposit were not solely for a clean but for marks that were made to the property, including stains that were left on the flooring and the dirty oven. The property was newly refurbished when moving into the property and the stains caused were not in the property when you moved in, we did acknowledge that the property did have some builders dust within it and the clean we deducted for was in acknowledgement of that. In addition to this, the oven was not left in a clean state either.
As discussed via email, we have made the deductions through the Deposit Protection Scheme, if you were unhappy with the charges and disagreed you were able to dispute this.
