I'd like to take this opportunity to keep a note of the pre-sale experience I had with Joseph Grant at the Sales Department. He has been really helpful, polite and very promptful in terms of answering my various sorts of questions to get onto the property ladder. I wish him all the very best!Besides, it's a poor after-sales experience from Catalyst. Not just me, even others feel the same way as me. We submitted a snag report of the defects we have found in our new home. Unfortunately, none of them were looked at as of today.

I recently sold my property in Oxfordshire and was looking for a suitable property where I can invest my money and secure a good quality home. After viewing many properties through different agents, I cam across Newman Place in Littlemore. On my first visit I met Charli, very charming and welcoming. Charli gave me all the information about the development, Catalyst and shared ownership process. Charli then advised me to contact Meriden for financial assessment.I met Laura on my second visit when I went to Newman Place to register my interest. Laura took me through the process and advised me to complete an application once notified to do so.Thanks to the professionalism and caring nature of Charli and Laura I am now in better position to secure one of the properties in the development. Furthermore, in Hopefield Grange I have found a quality development where nothing is left to chance. I am really looking forward to starting a new life in Oxfordshire newest development.

Being first time buyers at Thorn road

Being first time buyers, we didn’t know what to expect. We saw our dream home and instantly fell In love with it. We had Joseph grant from the sales team at thorn road development from the beginning till end, he explained every step. Even the little details in between. I would recommend catalyst to family and friends as this honestly was a great experience!! Not just as a company but the team really went above and beyond even after we have moved in we are still able to ask little questions here and there without no issue. Terrible experience

Terrible experience from start to finish. All but one of the people I dealt with were cocky, rude sales people who don’t have any empathy for first time buyers. No organisation, resulting in being sold a floor plan which didn’t actually exist on the floor I was buying. Resulted in me pulling out of the sale. Found out after I’d given them all my details and paid reservation fee that they’d not followed any of the correct data procedures and completely missed out my consent forms.

Outstanding experience

We are in the process of buying our first home within Newman place, we have had Charli and Laura looking after us and they have been fantastic! They have taken all our stress away and made the process throughly exciting and enjoyable. They have been so kind throughout, but not only that they’ve been able to answer all of our questions and reply to our emails so quickly which has made this process smooth and prompt. We have purchased a property very recently and before purchase we were happy with Catalyst and how they allowed an extension on a housing deadline due to circumstances out of our control. Since moving in this has been used as a bargaining chip for the countless physical and service issues around the house (broken oven, bathroom sink and other things) more or less to say you gave us an issue so accept these issues.Through loss of income for having to stay home for their tradesmen to come in and fix a problem that should have been fixed BEFORE they took my large deposit, upon complaining and at the request of financial relief due to loss of income and was met with “we extended your deadline before you purchased so we’ve already done you a favour”(not a direct quote but their attitude summarised) obviously under the thought process they are the only available property in England and have helped me massively by taking my many thousands of pounds a few weeks later.The extra time spent extending my deadline could have been used to get the house ready for me but it seems money was at the forefront of their thinking and preparing the property wasn’t even on the agenda. More upset with the attitude than the issues and wanted to share for future customers awareness, thanks for the read.

Perfect. For first visit to completion in 8 week

I bought a flat from Catalyst. I visited on a Tuesday at the beginning of December. I liked the flat and reserved it immediately. The salesperson put me in contact with a mortgage provider and solicitor that took care of everything for me. The mortgage was arranged in 3 weeks and the exchange and completion dates were scheduled after the festive period. On the completion day, I received my keys and I am the happy owner of my brand new flat.
