Good support from the Peabody sales team

We noticed water leaking from the ceiling below the bathroom in our split-level flat a couple of weeks after we moved in. The contractors (Mulalley and Co) sent a plumber the next day to secure the leak, and another plumber fixed it the following day. Since the pipes are concealed within plaster walls, the plumber had to make a hole in the wall to access them. Mulalley and Co have confirmed that a carpenter will attend our property within a week to do the plaster wall. We had a lot of support from Emerson and Tracey during the purchase of the flat, and we received the same level of support from Emerson when we were stressed about the leak in our newly built flat. He chased the right people to escalate the issue and get it sorted for us and followed up with us daily.

Inhumane company - DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!I just found the actual Trustpilot page for this awful and terrifyingly unaccountable company.Search 'Catalyst Housing Limited' to discover what it is actually like to buy from them.The reviews that most accurately describe this on the ACTUAL Trustpilot page are "Putting residents in a very dangerous situation" and "I have never been more disgusted".AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Everyone who has been a victim under them deserves compensation. And a lot of it.

Share ownership flat. Muswell Hill.

I purchased a flat through shared ownership with Catalyst and overall it was very straightforward and a good experience. Good advisers, the sales team was great from beginning to end and still after moving the developer have been attentive resolving listening to all my requests and action anything promptly if needed. I rate 4 not because of Catalyst but because of the delay of the building to be handover. Unfortunately the delay was over a month and my tenancy contract expired so this delayed affected me, having to move into friends and increasing my cost of move as I had to put everything in storage and move 3 times. I would advise any buyer to allow a buffer from the initial completion date given by Catalyst as this is an estimate. However, they made sure my completion date was before my mortgage offer expired and they expedited everything for me which I appreciated greatly.

Emerson made our buying experience great

We recently bought a townhouse from Peabody and I just felt I should write about the experience and call out Emerson in the sales team who helped us out big time! In the early stages he worked with us to find the right fit even though we kept changing our minds. We then took a very long time to finalise things on our side and Emerson would check in with us throughout that time never pressuring us. He was always very understanding and he helped us gauge what was normal to expect from our own buyers in terms of timelines. When we finally got our keys he was there again to ensure that home team followed up. Thanks a million for all your help man. We really appreciate it

They flagged my previous review as harmful so re-writing it

I think two main reasons my review was flagged by catalysts were : 1- Catalyst New Homes's aftercare is managed by Catalyst Housing Limited and their trust pilot is rated as 1.6 . Please remember if you buy lease hold or shared ownership , Catalyst Housing Limited will be your landlord so read those reviews carefully. They intentionally separated these two sections to keep their reviews high but in fact they are the same (Trust pilot doesnt allow me attach the link so just google Catalyst Housing Limited trust pilot ) 2- I reported my suspicion about the reason Im not getting any response, help or support from catalyst in my emails is due to racism.This is my feeling as I cannot prove it but at the same time I cannot find any other reason why from the beginning I was being ignored by Catalyst housing (I mean the minute after key exchange . they offered me a flat with no internet infrastructure (which eventually I got internet after 9 months) , no electricity (for 5 days) and all the utilities were registered to the wrong flat , like water meter said it is to my flat but it was to next flat, intercom was rigging wrong flat etc etc ) and I was left to fix things by my own. they send once an engineer who had a injured hand and his blood was everywhere and I didn't know that ) when I reported about health and safety for blood transmitting disease they told me very rudely to go to a GP ! they even didnt apologise. (Amazingly this was during covid and they didnt wear masks neither) Its been a year and I have yet another blood test to do. my point is , they intentionally try to down play my requests and I had report for failures and most of the cases they didnt even acknowledges or responded . Even I requested for prove of Building insurance recently and In the comment section of my previous review I was told that after care is in touch with me but when I updated that there was no update , my review got illigal and harmful . Anyway I had to call them again . As for the internet company sent me a wireless router to help me to keep my remote job during the lockdown but because the intercom engineer failed to pop in , I didnt hear the delivery ringing and the package was lost! I mean I can write a book about how catalyst disturb my life since I moved in but anyway ... I am working on a documentary and some day I may publish my awful experience with catalyst. The only good news is that they are mixing with Peabody and I have a hope that catalyst managers and leaders gets remved/changed soon . I spoke with Peabody and they have been way more helpful. Trust pilot , I tried to call your US office but I wasnt successful so Im going to find a way to find out why my previous review was illegal or harmful.

Excellent support & guidance

As first time property buyers, choosing and purchasing our flat was a daunting prospect initially. My Experience with shared ownership

In December 2021 we made an appointment to see the some show houses. I won’t give the development address as we now live there. The lady I first spoke to was really nice. I then got passed over to Mr Joseph Grant. Such a nice person, very good at his job and couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful.Any question was answered no matter how small or maybe silly, very quickly. We were offered a plot In March 2022 and we got the keys to the new build property on the 14th July.I would recommend this company and if your lucky you will get Joseph.

Brilliant service but let down by being mis-sold on the view

In terms of the actual experience the sales team (Stefan) is absolutely brilliant, he goes above and beyond to the point of quick responses, always being on hand when you need him and making you feel heard.Having metal plates put up and blocking your balcony last minute before moving in however, when you were sold a flat with a view is very very disappointing and something I won’t get over unless it is to be removed very soon…
