Buying a home with Catalyst was overall, a pleasant experience. It would have been helpful to have had regular updates on the build and site visits, we were kept in the dark in terms of the building process. Despite that, we are very happy with our amazing home.

Update 30.04.2023Sent my complaint to executive teams and to email below. Still no response. A representative called me 24.04.2023 with no prior knowledge of the issue saying not to worry they will compensate me ££ based on how long it was not working and he will call me next day to work it out. Obviously no one called. Glad that phone calls recorded so at least have your employee saying you will pay me out. Just big problem no one is available to talk to not to mention issue is from Jan 2023. You won’t be able to log Formal complaint if no one is available. To anyone who reads just a reminder that service charge has a management fee which is what you will pay to them to provide this poor service and which they keep on increasing with rent part. So no service but you have to pay increase on it….. no point with their below email shared as no one got back on that also. 1st update. I have spoken with 5 different people about HIU boiler that’s leaking all over, who confused me and drove me in circles that it’s not their responsibility. Only later to admit it’s part of central heating system and they have to repair it whilst ignoring complaint I raised for service failure. Simply forwarding formal complaint to repairs team. No apology nothing That all started in January 23 and today is 29 March 2023. After I escalated to Executive Team they also can’t get back with a single update. Appalling service - I have waited patiently for 3 months to allow enough time for you to do anything yet there is no one able to come back to me.

Purchased a property with Peabody late 2022.I will try to make this review as objective as possible so will write in 2 parts here: 1) General Peabody new home team and 2) Lydia who was my main contact point during the process.1) As you’d expect from any property buying process, it never really goes smoothly. Sometimes because of factors beyond your control, sometimes because someone somewhere did not do their job properly. I think the general new home team is decent but in my case, they failed to get the property postcode right which was probably a shared mistake with the developper but which created issues with my lender and pushed back the whole process by several weeks. My lender did have the right postcode so there is no excuse from Peabody/developer for their inability to get this right from the get go. Also, generally speaking, the new home team isn’t very reactive so sometimes 2-4 weeks can go by for them to deal with your papers/application. For these reasons, I’d give only 3 stars to the general team2) Lydia, on the other hand was really great and she fully deserves 5-star. She was my main contact during the sale process and was always present to accompany and advise me along the way. She was very proactive and obviously went beyond her normal responsibilities to support, quickly fix issues and put pressure on the new home team, the mortgage broker and other bottlenecks. It was a real pleasure having her by my side for this transaction. Even after the sale, she is still in touch and very happy to support with any additional questions and issues. She is a dedicated, kind and talented individual who understand the stress buyers are going through and she is very empathetic. I’d work with her again anytime and highly recommend her.Overall, I think 4-star is a fair rating here cause it wasn’t perfect.Please bear in mind this rating is only for Peabody before they merged with Catalyst and therefore DOES NOT apply to the new merged entity from April 2023 nor to Catalyst itself

I recently moved into a Peabody development and as a first time buyer, I cannot be thankful enough to Ilona Barkane of the Development & Sales Team, who was not only experienced and patient, but readily available and responsive to my queries throughout the entire process. I was getting considered, tailored advice and at no point did I ever feel I was being unnecessarily rushed. When it mattered with certain things/parties stalling and needing a bit of a push, again it was so helpful to have Ilona on side who understood the particular situation, and lent a hand to move things along in a timely manner. I'm really happy in my new home, it's a lovely development and finished with particular attention to practical, living detail and with very good specs. Thank you again Ilona for taking the stresses out of this lifetime decision!
