GoogleI’ve recently begun renting a beautiful home through Branocs estates. Throughout the entire process,from first booking a viewing to signing the agreement has been quick, easy and officiant. I’ve found Branocs estates to be fast with communication and also incredibly helpful with any questions and queries I’ve had. Emma,Gavin and Ollie have all been brilliant and made a very stressful time for myself much easier and I can’t thank them enough! A very professional and genuinely kind estate agents and I’m thrilled to be able to rent with them.

GoogleWe had a terrible experience renting a home from branocs. They made numerous false promises, tried to sell the property twice whilst we were renting it (once at the height of the pandemic and then again when we finally left last year). The second time they decided to sell the property when we were three weeks into a new tenancy with them. They quoted us the wrong legislation in notice to leave, in the end they offered us the last month rent free in order to get us out quickly. We found a place to purchase and this was going through. In the meantime their sale fell through so they advised we could stay. We let them know we would still be leaving as agreed as we bought a property. They then tried to withdraw the offer of a free last months rent. We took legal advice and advised them that they could not break this agreement without further action after which they agreed to keep this in place. Once we left, they accused us of a number of excessive damages that were not caused by us. Despite the fact that they inspected the property every three months (which was excessive and annoying). We had recently had an inspection and been told everything was fine. They attempted to keep our full deposit of over £1000 and we felt they tried to intimidate us into accepting this by saying that they would settle for just keeping the deposit but they could take us to court for additional fees and that although we could raise a dispute, in their experience there was no point because we would never win. We pursued a dispute through the tenancy deposit scheme and won, Branocs were forced to give us most of the money back. We then complained to Branocs about our awful experiences and the first letter was ignored. When we chased it we eventually got a response but it was very aggressive in tone in our opinion and we were very unsatisfied with the response. We complained to the ombudsman who awarded us £150 in compensation. We do not recommend renting a property from Branocs Estates.

GoogleBranocs give a first class service, couldn’t recommend them enough. I was kept regularly updated throughout, from the Lettings team when renting my property through to the sales team when I came to sell the property. The office is friendly and welcoming with helpful knowledgeable members of staff available to advise on any concerns. The advice is honest, useful and supportive and I was kept regularly updated through the whole process. If you want to sell, buy or rent in Braintree then I would 100% recommend Branocs for every service.

GoogleWe rented a house in Great Notley, we had a water leak and found the agency to be very unresponsive with the issue always blaming this on the owners of the house, when it come to check and leaving the house they took £500 worth of our deposit, the house was left in a clean state and we have had to fight hard to get our deposits back, AVOIDNegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
Dear Mr Brown, As you have chosen to air your grievance publicly, perhaps we should share the before/after images of the property that you recently vacated so that the general public can make their own view as to whether your deposit deduction was rightly justified? All deposit matters are subject to Landlord & Tenant agreement, and where an agreement cannot be reached between the two parties, the matter is referred to the Government backed Tenancy Deposit Scheme for adjudication. You personally chose not to enter into the independent adjudication process following receipt of our check-out evidence and agreed in writing to the deductions proposed, in order to return the property back to its original condition upon your entry, as per the Inventory and Schedule of Condition. Your remaining deposit balance was then released to you per the agreement made. We therefore refute any allegation that your deposit was "taken" and make clear that the deposit matter was settled by mutual consent.

GoogleWe spent 9 weeks on the market with branocs, we would rate their service nothing more than mediocre. We had numorous emails they did not respond to, our second viewer was shown around by an employee of branocs who had never even seen our property so not sure he was the best to try and sell it. When we did get a buyer in the final day of our contract with branocs we felt they had her best interests rather than ours. No surprise to us the chain fell apart before it had time to even start. When we called to say we wanted to go with our new agent now our contract had run it's course my husband felt he was rudely spoken to. No weekly update from them as promised, no info on what they were trying to do to get our property sold. We felt once we had signed up with them they just let us sit on rightmove and hoped for the phone to ring. There's more to being an estate agent than that branocs come on do your jobs!!
