Totally unprofessional.

Despite repeated requests to view a property I was not allowed! I am a cash buyer and was told that they were doing 10 viewings already but they might get back to me if they get a cancellation. Gobsmacked. I never realised that only a certain number of people are allowed to view a property. I wonder if the vendor is aware that c j hole are refusing viewings? Their telephone manner is beyond unprofessional and if you are thinking of selling through this agent then good luck and I hope you don’t get more than 10 potential buyers as apparently that’s not allowed.

Very bad. I do not recommend this agency, they will ask you 100 questions and then tell you that you are not a good fit. And especially, a not very smart woman is sitting at the reception, she will answer the phone, she will write down your name for 10 minutes and then tell you that you are not suitable. With a good income in this agency, there is no chance of renting a house. don't contact them.

I have contacted CJ Hole to help us rent a house. However the whole process was really hard. We had to go through a screening process before we could view the property, which we found very strict, but could understand why they set up that process. However, what we couldn’t understand was the fact that the process was really lenghthy and that we couldn’t apply to view more than one property. Furthermore, until today we never got feedback from the agency about the application we submitted. We called the agency several times as we had a very tight schedule to find a house in the area and although they assured me that they would give me feedback as soon as possible and would put me forward for another property in case the feedback was negative, I’ve never heard from them. The whole process was really disapointing.

Discriminatory and unprofessional estate agent

I requested a viewing with this estate agent who simply ignored my request. I called them which clearly caught the unprofessional man at the end of the phone off guard as he dropped the phone and proceeded to mumble. I asked to view the property again to which he went through some screening questions which I had already provided via email. He asked me if I had a child and then went on to ask the age of my child. This is indirect discrimination under the Equality Act 2010. He proceeded to ask me further questions which I told him he already had in writing and that I wouldn't repeat. I then requested a viewing for a set date which he stated was "not how it worked" and that he would need to "check when the tenants were free". Usually I would accept this, however this was an empty property that had been on the market vacant for some time. I would never go back to this estate agent based on this short phone call, they have openly discriminated and lied.

CJ Hole provided outstanding customer service during the sale of a property that we were selling as executors on behalf of a dear friend. Sam presented as extremely knowledgeable and efficient and was also very personal, approachable and understanding of the difficult circumstances that we were facing. All of the staff in the office that we had dealings with were very helpful and courteous. Every telephone call and email was responded to by return, in an efficient and timely way. The house was put on the market on 8th January and we were received a memorandum of sale on 21st January, 13 days later! Exchange and completion came around the time of lockdown, but despite very difficult circumstances the team at CJ Hole worked very hard to ensure that the sale went through successfully. Thank you! I would like to express my sincere thanks to Sam, who was always at the other end of the phone to provide support. It is beyond the scope of this review to out line the sad circumstances faced, but Sam kept in touch in a very caring and understanding way and went above and beyond to be helpful and supportive. A huge thank you Sam.

CJ Hole have been absolutely brilliant whilst I've been searching for a flat. I was struggling to find somewhere to rent, especially moving to a completely different city quite far away and the Agents have been so helpful and supportive along the way. Everything was explained clearly and Cherelle Louth was really helpful and approachable and answered all my questions when she did the check in at the flat. Cherelle also took the time to copy me into the emails to thr Electricity and water bill providers and to the council as I was worrying about those and she put my mind to rest. Recently Sold with CJ Hole Bradley Stoke and would advise to avoid like the plague. The only way to Sum up my experience would be to say that CJ Hole seemed to work for the buyers and not for me as the seller (and person paying the bill) Poor communication, poorly vetted prospective buyers, poor valuation process which I eventually overruled, however after I reduced the price they did actually find me a buyer, hence poor review instead of bad.... Totally different experience with the Agents handling my onward purchase - West Coast Properties Patchway were highly professional, kept all parties updated and actually drove the sale through to completion..... I know who I will be using if and when I need an estate agent again

Excellent from start to finish. Extremely professional throughout a lengthy sales process with added complexity of a very long chain. We have been impressed with the entire team approach. They are well organised and very pro-active in getting a sale through to exchange and final completion; exemplified in that they far outshine the competition. Other parties in the chain including solicitors and other estate agents were just happy to sit back and let others do the work for them, no doubt picking up an enormous fee for doing very little.
