Avoid like COVID-19 in 2020

If you like lazy landlords who don't fix things for 2 years and act surprised when things get surprised when things deteriorate and then come for money, Incompetent workers who can't be bothered to do their jobs and misreport things and are an all-round greedy company then Leaders are right for you.Absolute god awful company, no wonder why last 4 out of 5 reviews on trust pilot are all 1 star and all speak honestly about the company and all met with the same copy and paste responses. Wouldn't ever go with them again and would never recommend them to anyone and will actively deter people from them and suggest more support companies based on personal experience or reviews going forward. Avoid at all costs and make sure you go with someone who's more reputable. Their workers probably don't care about the 1 star review, they don't care when you report issues as they never respond to them within adequate time frames or might not even respond at all and when you call all you get is "they're not in the office at the moment", "they're not in today" and "we will pass that on to them and make sure they contact you within this certain time frame", never heard so many untruths be told. In conclusion , I'm sure to never go with them and I'd recommend you look elsewhere as they're not worth the hassle even some of our neighbours in the time we were there that have come and gone would concur to that statement.

Can't fault their service. Jack kept me updated throughout the application process and was very helpful in answering any questions I had. Upon moving in, I had a couple of problems with the property, these were very quickly addressed by the property management team and someone was sent out the very next day to fix it. Made my whole experience much less stressful which I am very thankful for.

Leaders Luton is a very wonderful and reliable letting agency. I already contacted other agencies but Leaders quick response and their reliability is top-notch. Bilal Raqeeb was excellent during the process of renting this property. He was professional throughout. He was always available and had solutions to all challenges I encountered while getting the apartment. He really puts his heart and soul into the whole process and was always smiling. He even always addressed me by my name and I really appreciate that a lot. I definitely recommend him to anyone looking to rent a property. His colleagues Lauren Galway and Malik Mian were also very wonderful. Lauren helped me out with some tasks I found difficult and also she offered the help with a smiling face. They all worked as a team and they are really a fantastic team.

I wouldn’t recommend this letting agency, we reported our fire alarms being broken in March 2024 in the property & we have now moved out of the property in July 2024 and they have still not been fixed/ no attempt to even get them fixed apart from false promises of “you will receive a call this week.” We chased this issue up numerous of times throughout the months and explained our concerns of having no working fire alarms. But nothing ever happened.

Renting our property from Leaders was a smooth process for us. They always say don't rent a property without viewing the property first but that wasn't the case for me. The property was clean and looked exactly like the video sent to us by leaders. The staff was friendly and answered all our queries. Our property manager Natalie responded to our emails in a timely manner. No problems here. I would recommend using this estate agent.

Brilliant when I first became a tenant now no care is given. Staff hound you to do a good review mentioning names to get their little bonus. Been waiting years for work to be completed, always pass the book to someone else. Hole in the wall when moved in, the put masking tape over it. Letterbox leaking when rains, still not sorted. Half the walls falling off, they're not interested. Friends of the landlord just turning up, using the driveway and riding through with a ride on lawnmower, non secure property. Can't wait to find somewhere new with a decent and interested landlord that wants to look after their property. If I could turn back I'd never use leaders again. Can't wait to find somewhere new, feel sorry for the next victim that pays £700 a month for a sh**hole of a house. Freshly painted when first moved but never mentioned about the damp and salt coming through so as you can imagine, it's dropping off. Unsafe bedroom doors. The list goes on. Oh and when you mention anything about taking it further, your end of tenancy comes up.

Really Bad experience again.

Really Bad experience again.When we moved in we had lots of issue which they was unable to fix it ( they didn't want, they didn't care at all )The property was a mess - They was saying that they will do before we move in, but they forced us to sign the contract even earlier and they promise us that everything will be good.During the tenancy we was without GAS, they did not fix it in time.. We didn't had heat we outside was really cold. We couldn't do any shower...LIGHT IN BATHROOM wasn't working, they didn't fix it util 1 month after we moved or maybe more...Carpet was smelling a dog urine...they changed but when we put a bad review ...Now that we moved out because we really don't like leaders, they are trying to charge us with over 1000£ to clean the house. We cleaned even better the was before. When we moved in the walls was almost black...we cleand, we left everything in perfect for the new people who will be moving in and they still want to charge us because we cleaned...LOLThey said that we had pets. but the true is the people before us they had dog and they put the faul to us.In my opinion, you should never rent with leaders. THey are really unprofessional , they are trying to get all money from you even if is not your fault. Claiming for things just to get money even if it's all alright.Never Again.Alexandru-Sorin Cojoc

Leaders - House sale

We used Leaders as our estate agents for our house sale in Manchester (£280k). The following two people were pivotal in ensuring our house was sold:Sue Carter (Move Manager) - Sue was very helpful and guided us through the sale process at each step (this was our first time selling a house), she gave us very good updates through emails and chased us promptly if we had any outstanding actions. We had two sales fall through and Sue was very emphatic and worked hard to find the reasons why both sales fell through, and communicated well with the second buyer to keep the sale alive. When we found a third buyer, the process started of smooth however in the week of completion the buyer was not very responsive but Sue chased every few hours all week to ensure the sale was completed by the end of the week.Megan Farnell (Senior Sales Manager)- Megan was always very professional, clear and informative in her communication. She provided very good advice when we received offers and worked with us to find suitable buyers. She was always approachable and made time for us and worked well as a third party with us and the buyer to ensure a smooth sale. When our sales fell through, Megan was quick to put our house back on the market and find us another buyer, both times we found a buyer within a month. We followed Megan's advice of lowering our price and as a result got two very good offers. Megan also helped the conveyancing process when the communication was less frequent as she had already built up good rapport with the buyer at first.We want to thank both Megan and Sue for their help throughout the sale process which was made stressful due to two failed sales. They were key in us finally finding a third buyer and selling our house.
