From a landlord. Continual poor communication and general bad service. Allowed an inappropriate tennent to move in and pay for a year in advance then allowed the them to back out of the tennancy after 2 months without anuthing signed by us. Always waiting for any updates when work being done. Different person via email moat occasions. Office seems to be run by a bunch of "geezers" making the minimum effort required to keep properties occupied. Very poor. We are changing agents once this latest saga is complete. Absoute jokers.

I recently moved from London to Warrington, and I've gotta say, the Leaders team made it a perfect experience. Massive jumbo shoutout to Becky, she's an absolute rock star and made sure everything went like clockwork. (And has the patience of an angel)Natalie, Chris, Meaghan and Danielle, you guys are awesome too! Team effort at its finest.Moving can be a headache, but these guys turned it into a smooth ride. Super grateful for the personalised touch and hoping this positive vibe keeps ongoing during my time in Warrington. Solid five stars! (Wish there was 10 star options)

Worst rental experience so far with…

Worst rental experience so far with leaders. Would advise to steer away if possible. I’ve been dealing with some living issues with them, not really solving the problem, lots of miscommunications and wasted a lot of time on pointless back and forth. It ends up with a ridiculous call with an angry and impatient lady who couldn’t even listen to a calm conversation but went into shouting status at a point, speechless but have to give up in the end.

Money grabbing and incompitent. Was a reliable and good tennant for 16 years. Tried to increase rent over £100 per month for a house thats falling apart. No maintenance done, just wanted us out so they could charge new tennants over the odds. Staff un friendly and in different at Bourne branch.

Very Dismal service

Requested a valuation on the site on the 14/10/23. Received a call on 16/10 and Grace booked the valuation on 20/10 at 1630. After an hour or so, I received a phone call by a very annoyed Danielle asking me why I want to book valuation with them as she is half an hour away also why I didn’t use any agents near me. I informed her that I actually called Leaders. I called Grace back, she said she needs to speak to a Manager and was very apologetic about the whole scenario. She called later and told me she couldn’t so she will get back to me in the morning. Next day she confirmed that everything is fine and I I still want to continue. To which I agreed. On 20/10, I left work half day earlier to be in time. When non one arrived by 1645 and assuming they are running late I called Grace, after calling a few times I left a message. At around 5ish I called again and decided to speak to someone else which connected me to the head office. I was told someone will be with me shortly. A Manager then called and informed me that Danielle is actually on annual leave and so is Grace. And as I didn’t receive the best impression from Danielle, Grace will get in touch next week to find someone else. Grace did call after 6 following Monday and left a message that unfortunately its only Danielle that can do the valuation and if I am ok with it, I can get in touch. Quite simply if this is the unprofessionalism I have received before even valuation, I don’t really want to have my property rented with them. Really disappointing service and I actually wasted half a day of work.

Extremely disappointed with the service…

Extremely disappointed with the service at Leaders - Colchester branch. Would not recommend them to anyone. I was never given keys to the front door of the building when they informed my multiple times they would give it to me. It's been three months since I moved into the flat and I still have no keys to the front door of the building. Now they are telling me that they don't have keys to the front door and I need to ask my neighbours for their keys so that I could make a copy. They want me to ask keys from neighbours who I have never met. Would you be giving your keys to a neighbour you've never met?? On top of all of this, their communication is awful. They do not even have the decency to reply to emails. I had to go into the office itself to get an update on the keys because they would not reply to my emails. Would not recommend leaders at all. I myself would not even think about using leaders again.

Deceptive, money-grabbers

Although this company has now been taken over by Leaders and trade under their name, it was formely know as Alan Francis, which is the company who took my property on. The staff still work there, under the name of Leaders now. I feel obliged to write this review to expose the numerous shortcomings of this company. I can substantiate everything I have claimed on this review and welcome anyone who wishes to see this for themselves. I sigend up to this company through a mutual friend of both this company and myself to manage my 6 bedroom HMO (House of Multiple Occupancy). This happened to be the worst decision I have made during my time as a landlord. They presented themselves as very professional and understanding when they wanted to take on my property. Unfortunately I soon came to realise that this was a deceptive ploy when issues began with tenants they had placed into the property. I was being notified of numerous claims of damage being caused in a perfect, well-maintained property as I am very house proud. To add to this problem, the police had been involved to remove an unknown individual who was residing at the property. Any maintenace work was carried out to an absolutely embarrassing standard which would be fit for any 10 year old to be proud of. All this had to be paid for from my own pocket to be rectfied after paying for it initially by their so called skilled tradesman. I had two very longterm, relaible and decent tenants who I lost in quick succession after giving my property to Alan Francis to manage due to their complete disregard of the condition and wellfare of the individuals living there. Whenever I called to speak to either Mia Anderson or Jack Hurley, they were always conveniently 'in a meeting' or 'out the office'. They never returned any of my request for them to call me back when they were avaialble and everything simply always fell on deaf ears. When I began to ask to speak to the manager to express my disgust with how I was being treated, they simply always had an excuse: 'not in the office, 'away on holiday' etc.Unfortunatley the complications didn't stop here for me. When I served notice to terminate my contract with these habitual and useless liars, my deposits were never returned to me, even after turning up to the office five weeks from the end of my contract date. When I finally met with Jack Hurley as I turned up to the office unannounced, I insisted I am not leaving until the deposits are returned. He went upstairs for 5 minutes and when he came back he told me striaght to my face that 'it's all done and will take a few days for it to come through'. I left the office with a huge sigh of relief as I was no longer associated with these con-artists. When a week passed and no deposit arrived into my DPS account, I took it upon myself to call their deposit company (TDS) who had told me nothing had been instructed by Alan Francis (now trading as Leaders). It took me four long weeks of repairs to get my property back to it's former standard and in a habitable condition. When I made reports of the damage caused by thier tenants who were supposedly vetted, I was met with nothing but silence and the blame was put on the third party company (Sai Aryan) who had sub-let the property and I have not been paid a single penny to this date. This is a very incompetent company who is only good for collecting your money and deducting their costs. I have been taken for a long ride by these rogues and can't stress enough for any newcomers to stay well clear of this horrendous company. Instead of having a peace of mind instructing an agent to act on my behalf, I have made a significant financial loss.They have been very unresponsive to my calls and emails and I am really looking forward to their responce to this feedback as it will be the quickest responce I have ever recieved. I would just like to remind you that I have attempted to speak to the manager on numerous occasions, but was given the runaround. If you want to be disgraced, shamed and be treated like pond-life then simply do business with this company. Please take note how this company responds to negative feedback. They DO NOT respect every customer as an individual and their reply to feedback looks carelessly the same (copy and pasted). Absolute careless money-grabbers.

They respond promptly when they can to emails and calls with regards to your concerns and manage to provide any help as much as they could.
