Shout outs to Ronnie!

All in all - I've had a pretty mixed experience with Leaders (encompassing a number of their offices / branches) however - The experience that I've had with Leaders Poole, has been nothing shy of exemplary, more specifically, my experience with one of their Team members, Ronnie. Hmm... The best way that I can say it, is: You know that deep sense of satisfaction that you get when you deal with someone who not only knows how to do their job with the utmost levels of care, competence, confidence, diligence and professionalism but also portrays it in both how they speak and their overall levels of conduct when dealing with you? Well... Yeah. That statement accurately describes my experience when communicating with Ronnie. Top work mate, and really appreciate your help.A few other notable mentions are guy who has the badass mustache from their Bournemouth branch, and his colleague who used to work in animations (sorry guys, forgotten your names, but you deserve a shout out as well for being both really easy, and fun to deal with.)

AWFUL COMPANY AVOID !!!!

AWFUL COMPANY AVOID !!!!Sutton/Croydon branch. Been waiting almost a year for them to sort out issues they have created, failed to discuss new rent increase with us instead just upped it and told us it should've been a different amount for past 6 months and expect us to just pay it, issues from the NDO payments that they've no record of where the moneys actually gone and was told its accidentally been paid to the landlord for the past 5 years which they are now trying to recoup from us, the NDO figure was even incorrect which I've supplied proof off,other issues include being told conflicting things to the landlord (who has now decided to sell through a completely different company despite leaders managing to for 5+ years - tells you everything). Constantly lying about being on other calls when try to contact them, been waiting over a WEEK now for simple replies to an email sent. Have in total spent 100s of hours trying to clear up THEIR mess!! Even had to get one of the Directors involved and she cant be bothered to sort the issues or even respond to emails! If you want your property managed or sold forget using Leaders they haven't got a clue what they are doing.!

This company is completely waste of time, the staff can’t even attend appointments on time if you give the staff of this company simple task to carry out they do complete opposite its seem like the staff are half a sleep and don’t care and totally clueless company Avoid at all cost. Another company has now been instructed to let out our homes.

Exhaustingly poor service to tenants

Over the past six months of letting with Leaders, every attempt at communication has been a battle. The only consistency has been the nature of the problems that we have: no response to emails, rudeness over the telephone, inconsistent information, and inaction on maintenance issues. At the point of needing to renew our tenancy now, and I'm honestly tempted to leave our lovely home because of how frustrating this experience has been.

Unfortunately a really poor experience…

Unfortunately a really poor experience with leaders. mis-sold no deposit option initially which is basically a way for you to pay leaders an extra £500 a year as a non-refundable payment. Moved into a house with a broken boiler so no heating or hot water, which took a long time to get sorted considering it was the middle of winter. Were told we would be compensated as we had to move out for a week (this compensation never came). Raised issues about not having rubbish bins and a non-locking front door (never been resolved). Then we discovered a mould issue in our bathroom and one of our bedrooms which made the room unusable (black mould growing up the wall, I assume a burst pipe somewhere), this has never been addressed. Finally, we have been waiting for them to provide us with a reference for our next property which still hasn't been completed despite being told it had been. We have not chased them continuously as we never wanted to be a pain but this has resulted in nothing ever being done despite going through the process that we were advised to. Do not want to advise people not to use leaders but unfortunately, our experience has not been a positive one.

Leaders Estate Agents - Great start

We had Craig visit our property to value this for probate purposes and felt he was amiable and helpful. 10 months later we were ready to put the house on the market and visited Leaders, where we saw Craig. We were impressed that he remembered us and the address of our property and how much he quoted us 10 months ago. We are just starting our journey selling this property but things are moving quickly and efficiently.

Complete lack of communication

Complete lack of communication after reeling you in with good offers and service to begin with. Once you’ve signed you are on your own. The management team are a complete joke and waste of time and money. They never reply to emails, give the incorrect info such as informing us that our tenants were due to checkout 10 days later than what was in the contract, plus the checkout inventory they completely missed a hole in the ceiling! Not to mention they emailed the tenants incorrect details on countless occasions stating they owed money, adding to a long list of issues. The in-store consultants were very helpful initially getting tenants in last minute, but that was it. Hidden fees, being passed to different people to deal with your problem and a quite frankly abysmal management service team, avoid using this company at all costs.

I would give them zero if I can. They illegaly forced me to select the no deposit option for renting a house, and as part of that they insist on storing all the details of my credit card inclusing the security codes. Avoid them at all costs. It's a shame there is no way to prosecute such criminals

Great experience with Leaders…

My experience with Leaders has been fantastic from the initial meet with Sara to Sophie and Stephenie. The ladies are very professional from their telephone manner to getting a tenant to my flat. They answered all my questions, very patient and knowledgeable. They communicated every step of the way. Sara came to my property for the initial assessment, she took her time to explain everything clearly and she was honest. I had met with several letting agents but decided to go with Leaders. I have no hesitation in recommending Leaders to anyone.

Bought a house through leaders in Mansfield with tenants in situ. The tenant accidentally paid 2 months rent after I had bought the property to leaders as they were also managing the tenancy. They paid it to the old landlord. Now I have to wait for the old landlord to repay it to them, before they can pay me.
