Worst estate agent I've ever had to deal with. It's a shame because the maintenance bloke is great. But the checkout staff are the worst. Tried to get the bulk of our deposit for the most half arse checkout report I've ever seen. Lucky after a dispute we walked away with most of our deposit. No thanks to the unhelpful staff at House & Son! Edit: take note of all the estate agents trying to bump their rating up by posting fake reviews... they don’t even have the intelligence to hide their names.

Myself and my husband used house and son estate agents to sell our property . We were very successful in selling our house and we couldn’t of asked for a better estate agent . Right from the beginning they was very professional and polite . Always gave plenty of notice on viewings. We was always kept up to date with information. The staff are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and have excellent interpersonal skills The staff of both the Winton and Bournemouth offices have a vast knowledge of the local housing market and helped us last year to find a flat to rent a flat for 6 months, sell two properties and buy the home of our dreams which we Now live in. The process of moving home is extremely stressful and they were there through the whole processes helping and guiding us. They listen to what you our looking for and then find it for you. Not only did they find us a six month let that fitted the our criteria perfectly but also the idea house for us to purchase. Also they sold our properties very quickly for the prices we wanted. In short, we have and would always recommend House and Son to others as in our experience they are the best estate agent in Bournemouth. Within a week we had a number of interested buyers and shortly after had decided on our preferred buyer. After that, the whole process went very smoothly and pleasantly, with regular calls to us to update us on the situation and deal with any queries. They also provided some very valued advice and assistance with respect to the sale. Additionally their charges were very reasonable. It was a great pleasure to work with them. I want to thoroughly recommend House & Sons in Winton to everyone reading this review!! It’s worth noting that I don’t normally leave such reviews on companies like this but I’m so impressed that I feel I needed too for this one!! I have bought 5 houses in my time in the area of Bournemouth & Poole of which two were from House & Son’s, Winton. I thought they were extremely good the first time (maybe a fluke?) but after the second has just successfully gone though I can say with great confidence that they are by far the best estate agent I have ever experienced!! In fact, it raised the question how all the others are so bad? Surely it’s not that hard?? What made them so good? Well, it’s simple; I enquired to a property on RightMove (as you do), explained what I wanted and what my budget was (like you do) and after a couple of interesting viewings they really seemed to understand what I was looking for. Within a few days I was offered a bit of a ‘wildcard’ property. It was slightly over my original budget, but after they insisted I should go see it and make an offer, it turned out they were right as I loved it and bought it that week! What gets my attention here was how they seemed to truly understand what I was looking for. It felt very easy to work with them. This was just the beginning. Once we had agreed the sale, unlike other estate agents who loose all interest in you, they continued to work closely with me in the transaction. You might be thinking that sounds simple and what all estate agents do….. right? Nope! Normally I think it’s a numbers game; I get shown enough properties and one of them I am bound to like. The problem with that approach is it just pisses me off and confirms that all the conversations about requirements, location and budget were simply a waste of my time and money! With House & Son’s I felt they were working for me as a client as well as their own sellers needs, a balance that I think no other estate agent has yet shown me that they can get right. Totally recommended from this happy client!
