I used Fox & sons for renting my property . The communication during the process was great. I was provided with updates and all my questions were answered promptly. The process was not rushed in order to find any tenants, the agency took time to ensure that the right tenants for the property were found, all the checks were completed and shared with me. Not a good letting agents at all. Took a holding fee for a property, I was completely honest with mine and my partner's credit history. I was unaware about a fault in my credit history from 5 years ago caused by a previous partner. When they bought it to my attention I explained all of this to them. They refused to finish my partner's referencing after this. Then the landlord decided to withdraw our application. We were then refused our holding fee back, and we were told it was because it was to pay for The references the landlord did. Which after a lot of research and talking to a solicitor, they can't actually do, as it's not legal for them to charge for references anymore. Also how can you charge for a reference, when you didn't complete referencing? Have tried to call around 30 times but they never answer the phone! Elle swyer was the only person there who was any good.

I can't recommend Jeni enough. Jeni's arranged 2 mortgages for me now and I send all of my friends to her! I haven't been in the best positions to get a mortgage but Jeni is very creative in finding a way to make it happen and get you the best deal.
