GoogleSelling our home & choosing an estate agent felt like a bit of an overwhelming minefield - we in fact had quotes from several agents when finally good luck brought us to Purple Property Shop. From start to finish the whole team were always friendly, welcoming & on hand to assist. Their service was excellent & we would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

GoogleHow these people are in business is beyond me. Rude, arrogant and unorganised. When viewing a property for renting the agent thought we were buying and asked US how much it was up for. No matter what you tell them they'll forget it. Booked in to renew tenancy, a week later they then threatened to evict us because we hadn't booked in to renew. Told them we wanted a 6 month contract on phone, tried writing a contract for 12. Asking about renewal fees (£100 for 5 pieces of paper copy pasted from year before) the agent got aggressive and would barley speak to us after.
We have received your review. I do not agree with your comments and think it is important to highlight the main points in response to the issues you raised. I cannot comment on the viewing as it was a long time ago and no-one in the office can remember the conversation with you. When you attended our office you were 2 hours early and as you know ( it being an open plan office) I was meeting with a rep at the time but stopped that meeting to meet with you. When you were emailed about renewing your tenancy you were informed of the renewal fee and in addition, before you took the tenancy you signed a tenant information letter fully explaining the costs. Our fees are open and transparent not only in the tenant paperwork we give you but also on our website. I did not 'copy paste' the old contract but completed it from scratch which you were aware of as I explained this in the office to you. We also discussed the fees and I explained to you what our fees were and what they covered.

GoogleRecent annual inspection of our rented home. As usual polite, efficient staff (Tara) who quickly completed the inspection . Asked if we had any issues etc and a friendly chat with Tara which was lovely. Highly recommended Agent.

GoogleFrom the moment we sat down with Matthew until the eventful day of handing over the keys to our old house I was confident that the sale was progressing and I can't fault Lynn at all for all her efforts in the latter stages in chasing various parties on our behalf. I would have zero hesitation in recommending them to anybody looking at selling a property and can't understand why anyone would choose anywhere else.
