Extremely Poor Experience, Strongly Not Recommended I genuinely wish I could rate Entwistle Green / Countrywide zero stars. In my experience, this is one of the worst letting and property management companies I have ever dealt with. I strongly advise anyone NOT to rent or buy a property through Countrywide or Entwistle Green Property Condition & Negligence: The property I was rented, 61, Holmebrook Drive, BL6 6RH, was clearly not inspected before letting. After moving in, I immediately discovered multiple serious issues, including: - Broken curtains - A damaged bathtub - Window vents that would not close, allowing constant cold air inside - No working hot water - Radiators/heating not functioning How a property was allowed to be rented without even basic safety and habitability checks is beyond understanding. Prolonged Delay & Impact on Health: It took nearly six months for Countrywide to fix essential issues like hot water and heating. During this time, my family of three, including my 8-year-old child, was forced to live in freezing conditions. Due to this prolonged negligence and mismanagement, my daughter had to visit emergency medical services multiple times, which I directly attribute to the lack of heating and hot water. This goes beyond inconvenience and into serious health and safety concerns. Unresolved Issues: Despite repeated follow-ups and escalations, several issues were never addressed, including: - Repairing curtains and window blinds - Sealing window vents that constantly let in cold air - Issues affecting privacy, hygiene, and overall living standards These ongoing problems made the property uncomfortable and unsuitable for family living.

Although our sale was a long drawn out process, which was made further complicated by the COVID-19 restrictions, Chris and his team at Entwistle Green were amazing! Their communication when I felt there was none from anyone else was so reassuring and they really did go above and beyond in a time when their hands were tied in a lot of instances. If you are looking to sell your home, and you want a service that is reliable, has excellent communication and above all is professional from everyone involved, I really recommend the team at Entwistle Green. These guys are really fantastic! Shortly after requesting information about a property I received a call from the lovely Hayley who helped a very nervous first-time buyer navigate their first house viewing, and even arranged a meeting between me and a mortgage advisor. The viewing was quick and easy, the follow up was unobtrusive and all communication has been top-notch! The mortgage advisor Hayley put me in touch with - Kate - has been absolutely incredible and I cannot fault her at all! Information was given accurately and in a way that was easy to understand, and she was very responsive to all of my questions. I would recommend Entwistle Green to anyone in a heartbeat - everyone is so friendly and helpful, and has made the experience of purchasing my first house such a positive one!

Landlord of property in Bolton and used Entwistle Green lettings for a 3 year period. Communication is poor and they are happy to take their commission and not do much else (e.g the odd phone call, report). Never heard from them in 3 years. As the tenants have now moved on, I am selling the house, so won't require their services, but had I have continued to rent out I would have looked for another agent for sure.
