GoogleWanted £90 upfront to value house and potentially sell or rent!
No conversation, not the way to gain listings!!!!

Hi Dave Willons
Thank you for your message.
Just to clarify, all our valuations are completely free of charge when there is a genuine intention to sell or rent the property within the next 6 months. We are always happy to provide this service with no obligation, as part of helping clients prepare to bring their property to market.
However, as you can appreciate, some enquiries come from individuals who are simply curious about the value, or require a figure for reasons such as matrimonial proceedings. In these cases, where there is no intent to proceed with a sale or rental, we do apply a £90 fee, purely to cover the time involved in travelling to the property, carrying out the inspection, and preparing a formal report. If the property subsequently comes to the market, then the £90 is then refunded.
If you are genuinely considering marketing the property, we’d be more than happy to arrange a completely free valuation for you with no upfront cost.
Many thanks

GoogleI tried to making a viewing. A lady answered the call and said no viewings are allowed until she has seen my bank statement. This will defer anyone from buying. Most estate agents allow viewings and only when you make an offer, it is then that you need to provide proof of funds. Tiger estates are deploying an approach where sellers will struggle to sell. Do not use tiger's. Only use tigers if you dont want to sell your property.NegativeProfessionalism

Hi James,
Thank you for your review.
We are currently following Government advice in relation to viewings of properties so to restrict the number of physical viewings to serious buyers. Our company policy therefore, is to ensure that viewings are going ahead with serious buyers who have funds in place to purchase the property of interest.
Proof of funds can be, a mortgage in principle, available funds for a cash purchase or confirmation that you have sold your property or have a sale agreed.
Our policy has been well received by most of our buyers and our vendors, resulting in better quality viewings and a higher number of sales being received from viewings in a proceedable position rather than wasting time for buyers and sellers physically viewing properties that are unlikely to lead to a sale.
However, if a buyer does not have proof of funds available, we are more than happy to offer a video viewing of the property that is of interest.
Thanks,

GoogleIm a landlord that required a new tenant for one of my properties. Tiger gave an excellent all round service, as always. Very professional & cost effective. They've also sold a couple of my properties in the past too. I will defiantly be using them again.
Highly recommended.

TrustpilotMichelle was very helpful at Tiger Estates Blackpool
As a buyer Michelle was very helpful at the Tiger Estates Blackpool Office. Property enquries were answered very promptly and professionally and the property booking/viewing process was very efficient. I've deducted 1 star due to the agents property descriptions stating that properties were immaculate and very well presented...sadly upon viewing said properties they were far from immaculate :(

Jodie is also a superb member of staff, also very professional and excellent customer service. Ed too is a credit to Tiger. I am very happy with the quality of service from Tiger in all respects.

Googleabsolutely insane. They want to see your bank statement just to view a property and they force to see your bank statement and they quote you the incorrect law when you challenge them. Do not use this company. Thats why the vendor has a low response rate. The agent rejects over 90% of viewers because no one wants to show their bank statements unless an offer will be made.

GoogleDreadful service, never call back when promised and staff sound like they don't care, as if it's all too much trouble. Dealt with Estate Agents for a number of years but frankly easily the worst. Avoid.

Hi Farayal,
Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback with regards to the service you received when trying to arrange a viewing of a property with us that unfortunately, for you had received an acceptable offer by the time your viewing was to take place.
I can see that you had arranged to only view one property with us but regrettably between booking your viewing, confirming the viewing 18 hours before the viewing and the viewing taking place, as is common with the current property market, the property was subject to an acceptable offer.
Although, the owner of the property was aware of other viewings after the accepted offer was made, the owner of the property advised that they were so happy with the offer that they no longer wished to conduct any further viewings of the property and would like to proceed with the sale that was available to them.
I can see from our phone records that we left you a voicemail on your phone to advise of this information as unfortunately, we were unable to speak to you directly on the phone.
Regrettably, the property receiving an acceptable offer, the owner not wanting any further viewings and only being able to leave you a voicemail are factors that are out of our control.
However, if you see any other properties that we have available for sale we would be more than happy to accommodate viewings for you.

GoogleAwful experience from start to finish (Section 21 date)
After calling the office to report damp and leaks from the flat above from August until now I was constantly fobbed off, ignored and patronised 'are you sure the paper just doesn't need stuck down' I have sent emails with pictures as requested and still nothing. 40+ times I have called from August until now, always being told 'I will call you back with an update'....nothing. Not knowing what to do I contacted the council, they came assessed what needed done and told them to get a damp survey. One week to the day from the survey I get a section 21 (letter of eviction) through the door. This is no way to treat anybody its disgusting. They will say anything to shut you up. All the jobs will need done as they will be enforced by the council whether I'm here or not so it's a pointless and unnecessary eviction all because they don't want to do the work. I feel I've no other choice than to share this 'review' as it's an awful way to do things. It's the homeowners doing but Tiger are the face of it so what else can I say! Thanks for nothing & oh, if you had checked I can get all the damp sorted through grants but now you need to pay for it yourself. But you made sure you got cental heating through my benefits before evicting me though. Now that is just low by anyone's standards.

GoogleAn identical house to mine is still advertised for sale at £17k under its initial valuation by Tiger Estates; it is now under offer with a sealed bid/ best & final offer which isn't available to me although it has downvalued my own house.
So, until this property has sold, it will remain on line as being for sale at £150k & there is nothing I can do about it; myself & many other home owners are now unable to market our homes at thier true value.
A potential buyer for this property will be told that "it's under offer" but won't be told how much for. This leaves me & others unable to sell which I think is frustratingly unfair.
I would say that this is bad practice and to have a property 'under offer' at an undisclosed amount is misleading & damaging whilst, to all intents & purposes it has sold for £150k - which it hasn't.
This sort of "micro marketing" should not be allowed to happen as it may profit Tiger Estates but could cost me & many others our life investment - our unsaleable homes.
How did this become part of a professional estate agent's role?
I am appalled that this misrepresentation is allowed & I shall look into it further.

GoogleWant to see proof of funds for a sub £100k house before accepting any viewings. I wish the house was available to view via a different agent. Irony is this would be a cash purchase, chain free and all they've done is driven a genuine and potential buyer away.

TrustpilotI write as a former tenant with Tiger
I write as a former tenant with Tiger. We are absolutely disgusted the way we have been treated. We were in a rented property for just over two years. Of which at no time did we contact you or cause any concerns to you. However at the beginning of the tenancy was a major red flag. However at the end of Our tenancy you have showed us the utmost disrespect by taking us through the process of claiming our deposit back through the DPS. At no stage have you made contact with us. What for, all over £80. Pathetic I find your Customer Service has failed us on so many levels. We moved out at the of August and still because you haven't bothered we are been hounded by Utility companies for payment. Don't worry they are been sent back to you. Thank you Tiger you've done a great job. We would certainly not recommend you at any cost. Sometimes it's better to respect your tenants. Good luck for the future because I think you'll need it!!! Also just to let you know they bought out Macdonald's Estate Agents. So you'll receive the same Customer service. Thank you 👍

GoogleI have been contacting Tiger Lettings for the past 2 months requesting viewings on their properties. I have filled out an application form beforehand in order to view properties, they arrange viewings then cancel last minute. They completely ignore emails about arranging viewings and insist on an application form being filled out every viewing request rather than finding an already submitted application form on their system. When I ring up they tell me they will contact me back just to never hear from them again. They have no interest in helping potential tenants and I can imagine this wouldn’t change once you’ve started a tenancy agreement with them.

Hi Keiran,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback, we really appreciate any constructive feedback.
I am sorry that on this occasion your experience with us did not meet your requirements. Unfortunately, the property market has been moving very quickly with properties being sold or rented as soon as they are coming to the market.
It is regrettable that it appears you were interested in a property that was no longer available, however, we will work on training with the sales team as we should have asked what you were looking for to see if there was anything else suitable that you would be interested in viewing.
Please feel free to get back in touch as we would love the opportunity to resolve this issue and improve your customer experience in using Tiger Sales & Lettings.

GoogleReally disappointed. Our property was booked in for a valuation appointment. No one bothered to turned up, we rung up 30 minutes after the appointment time to see where the valuer was or what was going on, to then be told that the man doing the appointment had rang in sick and wouldn't be attending. Nice of anyone to let us know. If you can't be bothered to turn up to appointments and look after your customers when you're trying to win business then can hardly see them wanting to help sell the property once the cash is already in their pocket. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

TrustpilotReally rubbish
Really rubbish. I contacted them regarding a property and the girl was rude on the phone. Then told me it's under maintenance. Then I called about a different property a few days later and the guy told me I had to fill out a application form before I could even view it. He sent over 9 pages for me to fill out and I hadn't even viewed! Some questions were quite invasive especially considering I've not even viewed it. I filled in what I coukd and sent it back. I never heard back. Then I received an email from them asking me do I want to fill out an application form. I responded telling them that I already had and I sent it over again. Then the reaspose was a seemingly human written response telling me I need to fill out an application form. I gave up. Don't bother.

GoogleArrogant abrupt and unbelievably rude staff/receptionist. We had a budget that we weren’t prepared to go over. We put a low but reasonable offer in on a bungalow but she said owner wouldn’t accept it and didn’t pass the offer on. She then questioned why we wouldn’t go higher and was dismissive of our concerns. Our budget is our budget and certainly doesn’t have to be explained to them. I have to question if they are qualified as they have no understanding of how the real estate market works and that there has to be open and polite dialogue between all parties. Not just the opinion of an ageing woman longing for better days! We sold our house with Farrell and heyworth who were exceptional unlike this lot.
