GoogleRented a property via tiger lettings. Not the worst agency in the world, generally stick to good practices and when it is of benefit to them they are prompt with dealing with issues.
However some major sticking points, we viewed a property in Preston, but had to go to Blackpool at a time convenient for the agent to sign the contract. This would be understandable as of course this is where the staff work, however on the day we were allowed to collect the keys we again had to travel to Blackpool at a time convenient for the agent (meaning another day where we had to leave work early),. But the kicker... On returning the keys we were allowed to return the keys to their Preston office literally 3 minutes away from the property "to make the handover convenient" 🤯
Typical issues such as reporting damp is dealt with by a copy and pasted template about opening windows. Despite damp under carpets and cracks around the window seals. No damp present in any other room of the property. Evidenced this and sent multiple follow up emails including evidence of woodlice under the flooring. Response was the same copy and pasted email on each occasion. Luckily for us we were moving out but don't believe the issue was ever passed onto the landlord, which is a real shame given the issues with the property would have been paid for by the leaseholder instead of the proper management company or the landlord. How do we know? Because the neighbours next door and about us (who owned the property) had the same issue and they didn't pay a penny to have it resolved, the issue was caused by blocked ventilation and faulty seals.
Same story with burnt paintwork caused by the storage heaters, made the agency aware received a response about not smoking in the property (neither of us smoke)
During the final viewing upon moving out the member of staff even agreed that the issue was clearly caused by the storage heater. We still had a back and forth with the landlord that it was smoke damage. Until we evidence contact with tiger lettings months prior, which had never been passed to the landlord.
Deposit return was a nightmare, the contract from tiger lettings stated any disputes must be declared within 30 days or deposit returned in full. Took 45 days for a response from the landlord! Then almost 2 months for return of deposit after prolonged back and forth with 3/4 disputes being the result of tiger lettings not passing on complaints to the landlord to be dealt with before they had caused damage to the property which then required expensive repairs at cost to the landlord.

They didn't return calls or reply to emails .They blatantly lied about issues I raised with them and were very unprofessional, unpleasant and unhelpful. I feel traumatised by the way I was treated by them. I conducted viewings and found the buyer myself and even after I had been so helpful (the agent actually thanked me for all my help) they didn't have the decency or courtesy to respond to calls. I would have given a zero star rating but that's not an option unfortunately

GoogleIf I could give 0 stars I would, avoid this estate agents, references were contacted over 2 weeks after application submitted, after 3 and half weeks, I explained I was going to have to withdraw as I needed a house desperately and something else was available immediately, I specifically asked if I would still get my fee back obviously minus the £25 they charge for references as I had never known an agent take so long, which I was told I certainly would, just called in to be told no way as I withdrew... Shocking, so if your a landlord of whitegate drive, I viewed and applied same day offering 6 months rent up front, can bet you wasn't aware...

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review and it is disappointing that you have decided to use Google reviews, coincidentally at the same time that you have been emailing the company relating to the notice period to terminate your contract with Tiger Sales & Lettings.
As discussed, we acquired Oystons Lettings contracts in August 2019 and your contract as most are freely assignable with no anti-assignment provisions. The reason for this being that businesses are sold and purchased, if contracts were not setup in this way it would restrict the sale and/or purchase of businesses.
You were advised in August 2019 that Tiger would now be performing all of the obligations of the service contract you had with Oystons Lettings, although, if you wished to terminate the contract you could with three months notice as per the signed contract or two months notice as a gesture of goodwill if you wished to terminate the contract by October 2019.
No notice was ever received following this correspondence and Tiger have fulfilled all obligations of the property management contract and continue to do so.
Recently, you have requested to terminate the agreement to which we have agreed and requested three months notice as per the termination terms of your contract.
We have offered you the opportunity to terminate the contract with immediate effect if you are happy to pay three months fees in advance or alternatively, we continue to fulfil our obligations of the contract until the contract is terminated after the notice period has been served.
It is regrettable that you have chosen to use our Google reviews page to voice your disappointment that we are upholding the terms of a contract that you entered into and agreed.

Arranged a viewing and was given a time 4.15pm-4.45pm after first being told there were no viewing available for a week, which is not good for sellers, tried to call them to ask if the guy had turned up to the property as we were under the impression it was a 30 minutes time frame but couldn't get an answer, so we walked round as the property was round the corner from us, waited 10 minutes then called them to see where the guy was, they told us he had left after 10 minutes, he never bothered to call us to see if we were on our way and then told us we should've been there at 4.15pm at which I told them we tried to call as the instruction wasn't clear and we didn't want to stand outside for half an hour, so then told it will be a week before we can view. Never had this from any other estate agents, I would definitely not use them to sell or manage my properties
