Keenans came to me very highly recommended, as the best estate agents to use when selling a house in the Blackburn area. I was not disappointed. From start to finish, the service which they provided was exemplary, and far superior to that which I received from the solicitor who dealt with the contract and conveyance, which was as hands-off as Keenans were hands-on. Everyone I dealt with throughout the entire process was helpful, efficient and courteous, and the whole experience was better than I ever imagined that it could be. From initial valuation to eventual sale, everything happened seamlessly, with the full asking price being achieved without any apparent hassle.So, an excellent outcome! I am able to recommend Keenans wholeheartedly, and without reservation of any kind. They are a fully professional outfit in every respect.

This was quite a stressful experience until Nicky became involved to assist the sale through to completion. Really driven and motivated and had her work cut out with the poor conveyancing service we had. Her communication was faultless and we were informed at every step of the process. Where do I begin. Keenans are liars. If your selling a property through them then please avoid. They will not get the best price for you. All they are after is a quick turnaround and put pressure on the sellers in accepting an offer which in this instance they were old and vulnerable. I'd put in an offer on a house I liked only to be informed that my offer was rejected because of the size of the deposit of 70%. Why should that matter when I had a mortgage in principle agreed for the remaining amount. I then spoke to the vendors directly who informed me that Keenans had put them off from accepting my offer despite it being the highest. The poor vendors were old and had been lied to by both Robert and the branch manager Jonathon about my financial situation. I will be taking this matter up with the property ombudsman as Keenans should not be allowed to conduct their business like this.

Cannot speak highly enough of Keenan's! If you need an estate agency, do not hesitate to hire this company. You'll be in the safest of hands. The whole staff team are brilliant. They sold our house on the first viewing day and "held our hand" right the way through the whole process. Every query was responded to immediately. Their professionalism and customer care are beyond compare. We had not moved house for 30 years so we were very nervous about the process, but the Keenan's team made sure everything went smoothly for us. They were particularly supportive about my husband's serious illness and kept this in the forefront of their minds during every interaction. It doesn't matter who picks up the office phone - you're guaranteed the same excellent customer service from every single team member. We can't thank them all enough for everything, although special mention must go to Paul, Sam and Lauren for their outstanding support, professionalism and empathy. If ever we need to move house again, only Keenan's will do and we recommend them without hesitation.

GoogleOf all the businesses or services I have dealt with since moving to the north west Keenans are by far the worst, most arrogant, most unproffesional business I have encountered. My house purchases was unecessarily stressful. You cannot ask questions as you won't even finish your sentence. Someone will guess what the question is before you finish it and jump down your throat with an aggressive attitude. Not once but over and over and over again. Asking to speak to a manager will not help as they will not ask you what your enquiry is, they'll just carry on the agggressiveness where the previous person left off. Twice they had accepted offers from me but kept the proprties on the market. They are always on the phone asking you to up your accepted offer just in case someone else comes along. Yes, that is right. They actively enourage gazumping. Speaking to one of the owners at first seemed helpful but after his softly spoken reassuring voice nothing would change. Even on completion day someone shouted at me and put the phone down and refused to talk to me. I can some these people up in a single word. Obnoxious.

GoogleBought a house last year and found them to be inconsistent. Firstly, they told us the house was off the market when it wasn't. Luckily we found out it was still for sale. Told us on the advert it was freehold when it wasn't. Estate Agent told us the flooring was boards when in fact upon buying and ripping the carpet up it was concreate and then they were difficult about our second viewing, didn't want to book us in and squeezed us in for us to only be allowed a 10 minute rushed slot as the agent was "busy". Personally I wouldn't use them again.

Fantastic experience provided by Keenans Rochdale. We arranged valuations from several estate agents across Rochdale and Keenans immediately stood out as the most professional. Sam valued our property and we were happy with how it was priced and he was happy to negotiate the finer details of our contract with us. Images of the house were well-taken and were marketed expertly. Communication was fantastic, Lauren gave us daily and weekly updates where appropriate including post-sale. It was a breeze and we will certainly be using them again in future. We went from live advert to sale within 6 weeks and completed under 12 and the whole process was seamless thanks to this great bunch. Thank you!

The whole renting process with Keenans has been quite difficult from our viewing of our current property we fell in love and set a moving date which is where hell unfolded. The whole week before we were chasing for our contracts to sign which has the incorrect date on which we will be chasing to correct - arriving at the property on key exchange day was possibly the most stressful day of my life, we had no power, no heating and the property was dirty and still full of the previous occupiers things. Whether the letting agent or the landlords fault I would expect this to all be rectified and sorted for us to arrive or even jusy a phone call to let us know..baring in mind this had already been pushed back 3 days. We spent 2 days chasing our electric provider, we missed Christmas parties, we had the most stressful week. Eventually after asking to speak with me a manager twice on the evening the lovely Emma finally contacted us, she arranged for a gent called Anthony to come out who managed to help us get the support we needed to get the power back on. We eventually move in another 2 days later than planned. Emma completely went above and beyond to try and fix what was a horrific situation, even getting someone around to clean on such sort notice! She did everything within her power to ensure that myself and my fiancé could comfortably live at the property and we could sort out all the other bits afterwards. Minor issues still stand, which we will be picking up on the new year however having spoken to Alex when there were some issues with our oven I am hopeful we can get everything all ironed out and finally feel like this is our home. What I feel this situation could have been fixed with is some communication, it could have been avoided it needing to be escalated up to Emma if we’d have just been kept in the loop.

Finally an estate agent who cares: Keenans have been very helpful and responsive throughout the process of selling our property with expert advice and tips. But it gets better than that. On the day of an important viewing we weren't feeling well, our cleaner had let us down and we were not ready for the viewing. Jack Truelove of Keenans turned up. He immediately asked "how can I help?" and then went to work, helping us to get the house ready for the viewing. I swear I even saw him whizz around with our Dyson and a cloth to get the place to look it's best. The viewers turned up and... put in an offer (!) which we accepted. Jack's positive "can do" attitude shines through in all communication with him and we are sure that this is also what made the difference with the buyers. Thank you.

Excellent take on by Keenans Burnley Team in spring 2020. Covid impacted as we requested on hold for 12months.Property revalued by Louis & quickly re-marketed in June 2021. Accepted a realistic offer after Dean’s good viewing. We were handed over to Liam from the sales progression team, who excelled in chasing solicitors, following up any issues & kept in touch which was invaluable as we live at distance. Liam saw the whole process through to completion in a professional & confident manner.
