I've moved so much in the last 10 years, and I've never had such a good experience with a letting agent, trying to rent is incredibly difficult at the moment, and when calling Ocean I got through to a lovely man called Charlie, he has been fantastic, made me aware of a property coming up in June in my ideal location, and within the right price, it's perfect. Really great experience, easy, quick, and incredibly helpful.

Worst estate agent ever! I have nothing but issues with my mouldy flat and I had no response when being told I would be called back. I’m now 2 weeks into waiting for a call back with no response.

I have used Ocean for the management of a property I was renting out since 2015. The service has always been excellent.I have recently sold the property using Ocean estate agents and Ocean's in-house solicitors. I can only say that the excellent service I received from their property management department was also the reflected in the service I received from the estate agents in Southville , Bristol and their in-house solicitors. Just like to say thank to all including at the Southville office and the Solicitors office. The service couldn't have been better and would highly recommend them.

Ocean estate agents were very good at marketing my property and took some lovely photos. Their conveyancing team also worked really hard to get my sale and purchase completed by the end of the stamp duty holiday. They were very diligent in checking over any property legal issues and showed a level of patience above and beyond. I felt supported throughout and the level of communication was good. However, there were areas that could have made it easier. For example, it would have been helpful from the start to have an overview of the whole process and the people involved at each of these stages (legal assistant, move manager, lawyer, etc). This could have been accompanied by a pack of required forms (with information about which ones need an electronic signature, a wet signature, witnesses, etc) so there is less of a piecemeal approach. In a wider sense, it is increasingly obvious that the whole conveyancing system in England needs rethinking.

Excellent service from start to finish. Dallas from Ocean helped us find our perfect home. We explained what we were looking for and our price range whilst on a viewing. The following morning Dallas excitedly called with news of what he thought was a perfect property based on our description of our needs. It turned out it was and we put an offer in straight away. Throughout the move process Mel our move manager has been excellent; chasing up solicitors and advising us of potential surveyors whenever we needed support. Her help ensured that the house sale was complete was before the change in stamp duty and for this we are very grateful. I could not recommend Ocean more. From start to finish the colleagues at Ocean were helpful, proactive and always offered fantastic customer service. Everything you would want from an estate agent

The legal process was undertaken thoroughly, with great attention to detail, and clearly with our interests at heart. When we had phone conversations and met our solicitor Stephanie in the final stages, she was both friendly and professional.The reason we have not given 5 stars is that in the early stages the process appeared to us to be very slow, and we were not kept sufficiently informed about the reasons for this during the first two months. We felt we were not being kept 'in the loop'. We would have liked a short email each week to tell us where we were in the process of both selling and buying, and identifying any significant issues to be resolved. Indeed, this did happen towards the end after we had raised our concern. We found this very helpful.We realise that there was a heavy workload probably due to the end of June stamp duty ‘holiday’. This may have contributed to the initial lack of communication. However, we appreciate that Stephanie worked very long hours and weekends (as apparent from the times emails were sent to us) to meet out deadline.
