Ocean Downend helped to make the process of buying a property with them as easy as possible. Once our offer was accepted, we received weekly calls from the Move Manager offering us reassurance that things were ticking along nicely. From offer accepted to completion it took 100 days so no complaints! My wife and I now have our dream home in an area we have always wanted to live. Thanks Ocean Downend!

Great diligence with the appraisal, by far based on the best and most thorough evidence relative to the other agents, good communication concerning strategy, viewings and offers and a relatively painless process from the first meeting through to completion. With three offers of the asking price within the first two days of viewings couldn't hope for much better.

We are first time buyers. Our first property fail through due to Seller withdrawing house off the market. Ocean suggested another property and we agreed to purchase this property. For continuity, we stayed with Ocean and their solicitors as they all ready had all our information and staff were very accommodating and lovely. The 2nd property appeared to be a straight forward transaction, however this took longer than anticipated, 4 months, this was probably due to solicitors swamped with Government stamp duty ending and back log etc. Still as first time buyers, and no chain with seller, we still felt process should of been completed sooner, thus 4 stars not five. Communication was good and staff were excellent.

The whole team were great: Troy (valuation), Chris F (viewings), Chris M (advice on buying) and Claire (move manager). I would wholeheartedly recommend them. I was happy with the process from beginning to end. It took a long time (not their fault!) and Claire communicated well to both myself and the buyers and kept it all on track.

All round very good. Only niggle was not frequent enough communication as the sale process was going though. I’d have like a regular weekly email. I think there was a crossover with the role of the estate agent in the sale and sometimes neither of them thought to update me, possibly thinking it was the other’s responsibility.

I've moved so much in the last 10 years, and I've never had such a good experience with a letting agent, trying to rent is incredibly difficult at the moment, and when calling Ocean I got through to a lovely man called Charlie, he has been fantastic, made me aware of a property coming up in June in my ideal location, and within the right price, it's perfect. Really great experience, easy, quick, and incredibly helpful.
