Great experience with Ocean (Bradley Stoke)

Through a tough process the guys at Ocean have been great! We had our problems from sale falling through to when eventually our house sold 2nd time delays in exchanging contracts. Ocean have been great throughout the whole process but our move manager Lauren was fantastic. Professional, very active and communication was brilliant. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them. I must also say that i DIDN'T use their solicitors.

I asked Ocean Estate Agents to find me tenants for a flat I own in Bristol.They responded immediately and asked me to submit information and relevant documentation.Within a few days they had found me tenants.They informed me of all the regulations required for letting out the flat. They inspected the property immediately. They obtained Tenancy references for the tenants and organised the Tenancy Agreement.They were very cooperative in every aspect and answered every question I asked.I could not be more satisfied with this efficient and experienced Company and highly recommend them.

Efficient but unhelpful staff response

The sale process was smooth and there weren’t unnecessary delays in the process. Unfortunately we felt that our move manager was speaking to the seller’s interest all the time. We were glad we didn’t go for their In-house lawyer as the discussions could’ve been even more one-sided although we’ve been told that in-house lawyers are from a different branch. Simple queries from us were made into complicated, very difficult to follow answers with legal jargon and it felt very frustrating at times giving off the impression that it was being done on purpose When we raised any issues, it felt staff were taking a very defensive approach on behalf of sellers . when we insisted this be discussed with the sellers , we almost always got positive response from sellers. There seemed to be a natural inclination to take the sellers side even without discussing with them. I wouldn’t deal with this agency again if possible

Got my first mortgage through Ocean and just completed my first remortgage. Rosie Watson was really a true pleasure to have as my case handler. She was persistent with the solicitors and always kept me reassured through the remortgage process. When I first started the remortgage process though a lot of information was incorrect on my mortgage information saved on Richard’s system so hopefully it will be updated for next remortgage.
