If you live in a shared house, they WILL conduct viewings without giving any notice. This has happened at least 3 times in the fairly short period of time that I've been living in one of their properties, even after we emailed them about it, despite the fact that it's illegal. Sometimes the contractors are quick fixing maintenance issues, other times not

We made every effort to inform each resident about the visits to the room for rent and the view of the common areas. However, due to GDPR compliance, our options of communication are limited. Nicola was helpful and friendly and really responsive to our emails. The only downside to our experience was we were transferred to another branch due to unforeseen circumstances. The branch was quite a bit further away then the original branch we signed up with so this made dropping off documents a little more difficult. The team did allow us drop information/documents in to a closer branch (where appropriate) which helped. Thanks for your help Nicola.

I have recently sold a number of properties through Ocean in Bristol - using both the Southville and Knowle branches.In each case the sales team have very actively marketed the properties, generating a considerable number of viewings which have led to strong offers in a short period of time.Throughout the initial sales process the agents were comprehensive in their reporting of the offers and on the situation of each of the potential buyers.On accepting the offers the sales process was passed on to a Move Manager who kept things moving along.This combined with using the in-house legal team led to a very slick and integrated operation.An online portal and regular reports kept me up to date with how each sale was going.Overall the process was faultless and a credit to all involved.

Went with Ocean due to them charging less commission than another well known agent that is popular in the area. A small team sold the house as opposed to an individual agent but it worked well, one came out to meet us, two others did the viewings and then the 4th person made sure everything ran smoothly post offer. It was really valuable having a dedicated person to chase agents, solicitors and other parties. Offer received for full asking price within 3 weeks of going on the market.
