Ocean estate agents and property lawyers provided us with a great service, selling our house whilst we were on the other side of the world. Rhia was an absolute star, providing great advice, negotiating skills and patience. She made herself available at the ends of the day, got our meter readings checked and talked to tradespersons on our behalf. Ashleigh and the legal team were also very easy to deal with and responsive. Ocean are a very reputable company and we wouldn't look anywhere else.

I was very impressed with the service received. Any time I had a question, this was responded to promptly and professionally, with balanced advice given. The communication between OPL and Ocean Estate Agents was very good and made things easier. I had been a little concerned that OPL would be a faceless call centre team - actually they are based in Westbury and, even though I did not have to go in to the office, it felt like using a small, local team with the more personal service this gives.

I put my house on the market with Ocean Estate Agents as I was impressed by their friendly but straight talking, non cheesy, honest approach they adopt. I was attracted to their In house solicitors service and found this also to be an extremely positive experience. Communication between the sales, after care sales and solicitor teams were very efficient and helpful. I've bought and sold a few properties now and was apprehensive about doing so during lockdown, as the process is known to be slow at the best of times! Sometimes, it was really challenging for me to find out how my onward purchase in another county was proceeding, but Carrie O'Donnell, my after sales manager was fantastic at organising this on my behalf. Also, the chain was quite long so there were many variables to deal with. If it weren't for her I think I'd still be waiting in limbo now!I would like to thank Rhia Lloyd, Carrie O'Donnell and Linda Cox in particular for making the entire process both smooth and relatively stress free.

He managed everything with a reliable and confident approach, even if it wasn’t strictly his responsibility to do so and gave understanding guidance in all areas of the purchase.One star as above, short of ‘excellence’, was simply down to nobody showing up at a viewing I had booked on one occasion, and no reflection on Jordan.When collecting the keys,on completion, such a thoughtful touch to find a wonderful bottle of Prosecco in the Ocean bag! I returned to say thank you, great atmosphere in the office, positive and fun.

Good communication and prompt actions once sale had been agreed. Your Move Manager did a great job. Using the in house solicitors also helped with communication.Before the sale was agreed communication was patchy, I was unclear about who was conducting the viewings each time and I was not properly asked about viewings or about a certain further visit to the property. This was important for security of the property and keys. I could not visit or be nearby because of COVID and needed to have good communication and confidence in the agents. Once Your Move Manager was involved this all improved greatly.

I had a successful experience 2 years ago and made contact recently to request further work and was told there was money owed, no evidence provided, no record of this when I call the office and a head of legal making no efforts to resolve the dispute. I find it unnerving they can add money owed onto an agreed schedule and use this to decline service and provide no evidence of what is owed, there amount, for what work and are unwilling to document the attempts they supposedly made to bring it to my attention.Edit to reply to Ocean. I am at a loss too, Ocean, I have a call scheduled for today with management. Head of legal in Bishopston have failed to provide any evidence despite repeated requests for what they are referring to. They have been completely vague and uncooperative and did not provide a contact for me to escalate my concerns to saying they were the highest up in the team and had no one to answer to. When I called the office to get more information, they also had no record of any money owed. It was really distressing the way head of legal handled the matter.Edit to reply to Ocean - I hope so too. I had a call promised for today but haven't heard anything. I sincerely hope I will be hearing on Monday.Edit to reply to Ocean. It is a shame it took a review on trust pilot for you to engage with me and offer an explanation. I have had many exchanges with you prior, the latest, in October 2022 wishing me well and advising me to contact you in the future should I need any further work. I very much look forward to gaining the clarity I deserve. I see one email today and a missed call that happened at the later stages of the day that I could not answer. I will pick this up tomorrow.

Very helpful and friendly teamWe recently bought a property through Ocean Estate Agents and we have had a positive experience with them. In particular, the move manager Melissa, who we were in regular contact with, was very helpful. She kept us informed throughout the process and helped to keep the process moving.We also used Ocean Property Lawyers who were equally as helpful. Kelly was very friendly and organised. She was always easy to get hold of by phone and quick to reply to emails. Mortgage advisers Neil and Tracey were also great, providing us with great advice and taking the stress out of finding a mortgage.Thanks to all the team!

Then Oceans solicitors took over the conveyancing and Charley took charge of this and worked hard to make sure i completed in due course. At every step of the way with Southville branch of Ocean property lawyers, I felt fully informed and kept up to speed in what seems to me like a complicated process, that they were in charge of it in a good way, good attention to detail, both professional and friendly. They were on it all along at each stage in terms of phone calls, paperwork, form filling etc. Things were explained to me if I asked, and I felt really looked after on a personal level - good friendly and dare I say, caring, customer contact. I felt like they earned their money, which is a good feeling, for the service they provided. Can't fault it, and I will swing by the office now post completion and drop of some little tokens of appreciation to them, and to the Ocean sales team. They've been brilliant to me.

Sam, Mark, Chris and the rest of the team and the Shirehampton branch have been outstanding in the sale of my property. My initial temptation was to go to online EA but I am so glad I didn't. The Shire Team have great local knowledge and a large data base of clients. Before my property was even listed on Rightmove they had a potential buyer. They sold my place in 5 days. A committed and proactive service from Ocean on the sale of my home in Montpelier. The team grasped the unusual character of the property at once and marketed it accordingly. I soon had a buyer lined up and Ocean were a helpful partner throughout the subsequent process, which was stressful owing to a range of factors (none of them attributable to Ocean). We have now exchanged contracts and the stress is over. There has been great communication and support from Ocean throughout the process, and unfailing enthusiasm despite setbacks.
