I have been looking for an apartment for over 2months I walk-in to enquire about an apartment in ocean letting and management Bishopston, I was amazed by the quick arrangement from the staffs and Kayla in particular. I went for viewing that same day and was told to make offer the following day. Kayla was an amazing staff she was there for me all the way and helped me move in yesterday.. thank you ocean letting and management

All the team I had contact with were brilliant. My purchase wasn't the smoothest but Victoria, Tracey and Claire were all excellent and never made me feel like I was bothering them with all the issues I ended up coming to them with. When my mortgage offer was about to expire they were quick action an extension and help me get the purchase over the line. I highly recommend the service.

Charlie was excellent throughout the whole experience. He was knowledgeable and helpful.I was let down slightly by the communication with Emily I believe was her name. Details were incorrect at times in her emails. I also found the door had not been double locked on one occasion which frustrated me, however I do not know who was at fault for that. Charlie apologize and was sincere and assured me it would not happen again.Overall the experience was a positive one.

I cannot thank the team at Ocean enough, especially Charlie at the Portishead branch! I had been looking for a property for such a long time and was beginning to lose hope. I viewed a property that I fell in love with and Charlie was open, honest and made me feel like the property was meant to be the home that myself and my son were looking for. When Charlie told us the amazing news we’d got the property he genuinely was so happy for us. Thank you Charlie for making a really stressful relocation so much less stressful!!

Excellent service from beginning to end. Selling under desperate circumstances as divorcing and it was all handled with care and discretion. Both of us were respected and looked after separately and both felt kept in the loop and looked after. The house sale was also dealt with respectively and was relatively smooth. Both Steve and Mel were easily contactable, honest and beyond helpful. We have sold many other houses and homes and this was a delightful experience in a not so great period of our lives. Thank you isn’t enough

I’ve had nothing but good experience since I moved over to Ocean to manage my property. Charlie has been so helpful every step of the way and after only having the flat on the market for a week or so I had secured a tenant. I’m not very good with the administration side of things but Charlie made sure I was on top of things and wouldn’t let time pass without sending me a polite reminder/nudge which I really appreciated as it got the tenants in. I would highly recommend Ocean to anyone looking for a management company. Thank you Charlie and the Ocean team!

The service is very good, following up in details, clear and efficient. All people are nice and helpful, especially Gayle.However, the service at Lettinghubs by Ocean is not satisfactory. I refer to the Utilities. Very slow response and no feedback on email. Like I had to resend the same email Four times to have a reply in one week. Very simple question but no reply neither. Not helpful at all. it’s good and headache free to have it liaising with landlord, council, utilities suppliers about all the account transition. But if the service is more efficient and mean to help, it would be much better.Only when they asked me to buy home insurance, they are very proactive.

Our sale couldn’t have been handled more professionally, with poise, calm and expertise.At no point did we worry about our sale - it was sold super quick, the communication was second to none, and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled.The agents were attentive and accommodating, and the lawyers were first class.Before that, we had always rented our flat with Ocean Lettings, and their service has always mirrored that of the sales agents and the lawyers.Thanks Mel, Abbie, Ellie, Steve, Hollie, Jasmine, Wes and all at the lettings team!Well done Ocean - you are unrivalled!

My partner and I have just purchased our first home and would not have been able to do so without the help of Luigi Lattuca. We were under a strict time frame when needing to submit out mortgage application, and Luigi went above and beyond and was on hand almost 24/7 and would respond to emails and telephone calls in a timely fashion. Nothing was too much trouble and being a first time buyer, he did not over complicate the process.Luigi's communication cannot be faulted and we will not hesitate to use Luigi's services in the future as well as recommend him to all friends and family.

Terrible estate agents, the house we rented had a leaking roof from the start of the tenancy up until the day we left. 10 Months of showing countless builders the same issue. even had the cheek at one point to say it had been fixed. gave it the classic sorry the repair was unsuccessful. asked to show proof countless times... no response obviously. i feel sorry for the landlord as no doubt he was being charged for repairs that were not getting done. now onto the deposit return. 6th week and still no funds even tho the landlord has agreed to give us the whole lot back. good on him. They only respond if you tell them your going to take action.I said i would go to TDS as they do not reply to emails and was getting fed up. There response was they have 3 months to return it and actively tried to get me not to raise a dispute with TDS as it would take 7-8 months and would be in my interest to resolve with them. BEWARE false information. This is an absolute crock and when i spoke to TDS they were quite shocked that this advice was given. for any new tenant reading this if you dont raise a dispute with tds within 3 months then you cant raise one at all. so clearly trying to get me to go over the time frame deliberately. i can see from all the other bad reviews there going to respond about how great they are and everyone else is the issue but i can assure you ive dealt with many estate agents and this one is shocking. maybe if they replied to emails in the same fashion as these reviews the 1 stars wouldn't exist..

It is therefore imperative that our teams prioritise both landlord and tenant care at all times. Customer service of only the highest standard has been fundamental to Ocean for 40 years.We regret that you did not receive the expected level of service on this occasion. There was a mistake in the deposit payment process that caused a delay, this has now been resolved. We also acknowledge that the information we gave you about TDS was factually correct but not clear enough and without sufficient context. We have used this as a learning opportunity for specific team members and provided them with further training and guidance. We will monitor their performance to ensure they meet our standards.Regarding the roof, it was the landlord’s preferred contractor, work had proven to be insufficient, and this was unfortunately beyond our control. A 2nd contractor has now been appointed and work scheduled. As we agreed, the work will be done when the property is empty, because it will affect the living space. Simon, from Ocean Mortgages, went above and beyond in every respect to support me in securing a mortgage. The level of concern and attention to detail was second to none - with a willingness to check-in with me at every step of the transaction. Welcoming, proactive and clear communication throughout - big thumbs up! I really cannot recommend Simon enough!Sadly, the team at Ocean Estate Agents provided a largely underwhelming service - regularly appearing out of the loop as to where the sale was up to, with little impetus to support things moving forward. Failure to communicate important details between the vendor and buyer led to various delays. The team were, however, a nice group of people, despite my frustrations.

TrustpilotProbably the best property agents in Bristol…
We rented a property for 6 months between house moves, that was in December 2012. The property was in such a good location we found it difficult to leave and finally moved out last weekend, April 2022! Throughout this whole period the property was managed by Ocean and throughout they have been nothing but professional and efficient. We would recommend Ocean (and in particular Jon & Josh from Ocean Bishopston) to anyone looking to rent or indeed have a property managed. They are simply excellent.

It could have been better if we had clarity on the steps we need to go through ahead of starting the process. We were misguided that an excess of £30k could be withdrawn along with the remortgaging process for house improvements but ended up with a lot of confusion when HTB did not accept that, HTB came up with a lot of hidden steps involved in the process when we directly contacted them, which we felt we could have planned the timeline better if we known this earlier. We contacted Ocean Estate Agents roughly 6 months prior to our current mortgage's expiry, but still ended up completing the remortgaging 18 days late, after going through the mental trauma of having to get the work done by ourselves being the middle man for HTB Lenvi and Enact, to get the series of mistakes and wrong information corrected.

We did in fact obtain your mortgage offer on the 27th of April, within 3 working weeks. Unfortunately, we faced extraordinary delays due to Enact providing incorrect paperwork, constant errors & their failure to obtain required information from the HTB Organisation Lenvi. This was unfortunately out of our control Ocean Mortgages makes every effort to ensure the smoothest of applications, arrangements and approvals as can be seen by the many positive reviews here on Trust Pilot. We are sorry our team were unable to ensure a seamless application of this occasion.
