We worked with Ashleigh (Ocean Property Lawyers), Tom and Jenny (Ocean Estate Agents) for our recent house sale. They were all fantastic. Their patience, positivity and drive to keep the process moving and everyone up-to-date throughout was great. They even put up with my moaning when other members of the chain were slow and frustrating! I'm not sure they could have done more for us. Having everything (conveyancing and estate agents) under one roof is really useful as the team was able to keep each other up-to-date (and us). Our experience with Ocean started with a valuation of our property carried out by Steve Clarke. We found him very personable, genuine and quickly built a good rapport. Steve was quick to get to work with helping us find our next property. We had yet to list ours when we thought we found our new home and had an offer that was acceptable provided we sold ours. Steve very quickly pulled together photos and the listing, with viewings in just a few days. Unfortunately (at the time but not in hindsight) we were not successful on our onward purchase, however, we did have a very good offer on our property which we accepted and put us in a proceedable position when next making offers on other properties. My only regret is not insisting on having another open day to reassure us that we were getting maximum money. Part of me feels like this should've been suggested by Ocean.Several months later, we had found our new home. Albeit with another agent, Ocean continued their hardwork in progressing the sale, which is where we had the pleasure of liaising with Melissa Bell. Mel was great with managing the relationship with our buyer, who was particularly challenging but also with keeping the pressure on our conveyancer for our purchase. Buying and selling is stressful but this was made all the better by Mel.Our overall experience with Ocean was extremely positive and although there were other contact points along the way, Steve and Mel were the stars of the show! All interactions with ocean have been as professional as any tenant could ask for, which make a nice change for once as I'm sure most tenants are aware. Never messed me around, and any problems have been solved in a practical and well communicated manner. My own experience with Bristol's Downend office has been wholly positive, so many thanks to Jemima and Hannah for their efforts, professionalism, and understanding. This was my first time selling a property and they both went out of their way to make me feel so at ease with the process - no question was ever considered a silly one. I have never rented out a property before however inherited a property from family who used Ocean as their letting agent. I carried on using them as I thought they knew the property and that the transistion would be easier. This has proved to be true - Lily in the Bradley Stoke has been a consistent support throughout the whole process, on hand with support and advice, as have the whole team.
