I have been dealing with Intercounty for many years , both for sales and rental .I have found them to be very professional and extremely helpful with all aspects of sales and letting .In particular Doug Whybrow on sales has been amazing , he kept me updated on the progress of the sale constantly ( it was a slow one ) but he did all the necessary chasing all the time . Very friendly guy to deal with also , so full marks to him . Julia Samson in rentals has also been very good at her job , I found her to be very professional in all my dealings with her . So I would thoroughly recommend Intercounty for any sale or let .

TrustpilotPurchased despite Intercounty, not because of them
We have had a mixed experience that got progressively worse as exchange in contracts approached. We twice arrived at the point where my wife and I agreed to pull out of the purchase due to questionable levels of service, rescued at the last minute by progress. Despite the purchase being agreed, there was an overly aggressive air in the way some communications were handled, as if to try and close a deal that was already closing. This was probably not helped by the Vendor, but your job as agents is to broker between two parties, a job I feel was not handled very well at all. Indeed your involvement at times only served to confuse and delay. There was also a poor attempt at creating urgency in responses when responses were actually owed by yourselves. You were called on this and back-tracked over a period of 24 hours. I would be happy to discuss further either face to face or on the phone, but don't do not have the time to write in the required depth.

We used Intercounty recently to sell our property and had previously been on the market with another agent for 5 weeks and only had 2 viewings during that period. We changed to Intercounty and the viewings increased significantly and the potential buyers were all qualified beforehand and in a good position to proceed. Within 2 weeks we had an offer which we accepted and subsequently completed.I was very happy with Intercounty and Andrew Kershaw and his team kept us regularly updated throughout the process and so I would certainly recommend their service.

After finding a buyer for our house in a couple of weeks, it came to light that the solicitor we had when we bought it had not registered it correctly on the Land Registry. A simple sale turned into months of sleepless nights, tantrums and tears whilst the recommended solicitor corrected this major mistake. Along the way a new buyer was found and the sale went through after 8 months. Nick, Dominic and James were there for every phone call, visit, grumble, moan and laugh. The chain was extremely challenging at times but these guys stayed positive and up beat throughout and the levels of communication were second to none. Peter and his team were a delight to deal with throughout the entire sales process. They worked hard to generate interest in my property and they sold my house quickly at a good price. Great service from Doug and team at Intercounty From the moment of putting the house on the market to selling Doug and team were fantastic. Such great customer service. We used Intercounty 13 years ago to sell our house and would only ever use them to sell as they really do provide the best localised service. I was well happy with the service i recieved from Intercounty and as you enter the office you automatically feel welcomed more than i can say for other estate agents anyway, i was impressed by Luisa's professionalism, presentation and timekeeping...she answered all my questions, ànd allowed me to look around the property at my own pace. I can only report positive experiences with the team at Intercounty, Braintree. In particular Luke and George have been fantastic throughout our house hunting process.
