Wentworth & Rose are a very professional outfit. I have used them for many years and always found them to be on point. They are quick with responding to your calls / queries and the staff are super friendly. Where on occasions I have had to raise maintenance issues, engaging with Chelsie Shakespeare who manages the maintenance team, its been easy and stress free, with all my jobs being completed to a high standard & finished on time. Chelsie's professionalism and dedication of her whole team is a credit to the Wentworth & Rose name.

I'm still trying to get over the bad experience we had with Wentworth and Rose, they never managed to do what they promised, didn't accept any responsibility and charged us where they verbally agreed there won't beany charges.Shortly after our horrible experience, the next-door neighbour which is identical to our house was sold in 3 weeks with another estate agency, its so important to choose a right estate agency,I'm sharing our experience to save others from the same disappointment!

Unprofessional staff threatened to increase my bill when she was challenged!

We signed a contract to sell our property because we found a property to buy through them. Their agent verbally waived the marketing cost for our contract when we signed the contract but later refused to admit it! We had to keep calling them and chasing for interests. When we call them, they book for viewing if we don’t call, there is no booking! We had a few offers significantly below the asking price. We asked them not to pass silly offers and check that the buyers were genuine and not timewasters. We received an acceptable offer after 8 months. The buyer stopped answering their phone a couple of days after they submitted the offer. I challenged the agency and asked them if they had checked the buyer before submitting the offer, but my challenge was handled by a rude and unprofessional agent who threatened to increase my bill and charge me extra for her time! I lost £300 for the solicitor, and even though Wentworth waived the marketing cost, they still charged me £276.

Unstable staff - unprofessional, happy to waste your time.

I have been involved with selling my house and now trying purchase a house. Did not sell my house with them as they offer very high valuation, only for the property to stay on the market unsold. This is the case friends and family who have used them for sales. I wasted 20 minutes today after being disingenuously being shown properties only at the end she would only show these after demonstrating a deposit as AIP. Either of these were not a problem, but never given these just to look at property. After stating it was best mention this before showing me properties online ,their director became upset and stated she just take my details off her record then Not sure if she was having a bad day, but came off emotionally unstable. Avoid at all costs.

Appalling experience from day one…

Appalling experience from day one (literally straight after Katie sold me the service). No landlord checks led to a tenant from hell. To rectify Katie promised a new tenant at no extra fee, but a fee was still charged. Multiple emails regarding checkout were ignored, and this was not done in time (Charlotte, who ignored my emails, simply passed the blame onto Morgan! Next tenant- inventory not sent to me at all. When requested (because the waste disposal had been broken), it listed “assortment of items under the sink- no mention of waste disposal). So that cost me again. I was contacted by their accounts dep’t, regarding disposit return. My flat had been trashed that much by the nightmare tenant that they never checked adequately, that I needed to dispute the deposit return. The accounts person told me to wait, and that they would notify me when to dispute. The next time he contacted me was to tell me that the deadline was the day before. I have lost a small fortune because I trusted this uncaring and incompetent organisation. And they continue to badger me for money owing. Use these at your own peril.

Rudest member of staff I have ever had the misfortune to speak to. If you are selling your property with them beware, as trying to arrange a viewing is not a pleasant experience. Arrogant and full of attitude. Declined in the end to make an appointment as I really didn't want to have to deal with a person like that again.
