Very poor experience. I was renting for a year with Wentworth and rose and they have been very incompetent and unhelpful. Didn't have any information about the property I was renting, couldn't help with anything, every time I had to speak to a different person which was extremely frustrating at some point. Oh and they lost the key I have sent them at the end of the contract and made me loose my whole deposit for, so called, locks replacement- a replacement that cost me over 600£!!!

Purchased a house through Wentworrth and Rose, the staff were extremely professional, friendly and helpful from the start. Really mainly with Emma, although all staff were equally helpful, the sale took 9-months in total for various reasons, non of which were related to the agents, however they took complete control and endured strong and active communication tool place at the appropriate times in order to satisfy the chain. Renting an apartment at the beginning from Wenthworth &Rose was the start of the disaster.Upon entering the apartment,i realised there was more than 1 electricity meter that i was never told at any points i met the agent.Therefore i had to fork out the extra standing charges which were grossly unfair.Normally 1 electricity meter each house.Throughout my tenancy ,the agent were totally lethargic when i faced any issues,in particular related to maintenance.The landlord was lethargic and unresponsive as well.He showed outright disregard for the property. Whenever any issues were raised,i received no or belated response ,always resulting in further damage.I was fed up with such a horrendous living environment and decided to move out. Once i moved out, i was told to lose all deposit.Fortunately i had each and every evidence of their atrocious behavior,TDS ruled a fair decision and i retrieved most of the deposit after a long battle.Because of their unscrupulous behavior and in collusion with landlords to rob you of the deposit, you must avoid this agency at all costs. Even if you buy a house from this agency, they must give you a problematic property.They do have no moral principles or integrity.In the meantime they are trying to create deceptively positive reviews everywhere.So beware of the scam or trap.Remember, NOT to have any transaction or be in any contact with this agency.They give you horrible if not intimidating experience without any shadow of doubt.

Extremely unprofessional and unhelpful! I enquired for a property to rent and had my call answered by Mia. She seemed very nice and promptly sent me an email to provide proof of earnings. She checked and approved of these. Within the same day, Torria started replying to the emails and annoyingly, stated that they won’t be taking viewings anymore as they were fully booked. Strange. It couldn’t have been booked up that quick within a few hours. They could’ve let us know from the start. I then later decided to enquire for another property from the same agency and got asked to provide some more proof of work, both from me and my partner who has also called the agency to make sure we secure a spot. Torria gets back to us through email, in a very unprofessional manner (no hello, no kind regards, nothing) and says we don’t reach the “required annual income of £32,400” and that we should either have that amount or pay 12 months rental upfront plus the deposit - which she failed to mention the amount OR how the required annual income was calculated. I replied back, explaining that our payslips had been checked and approved before for the price per month we were looking for, and asked why she rejected it and why she had only mentioned my earnings and not my partner’s in the calculations too. She never replied to this and insisted on the required amount or 12 month upfront payment. Very unprofessional, rude and unhelpful. Avoid!

I was renting with wentworth & rose as my letting agent for 3 years and 6 months. I had a smooth and wonderful experience, whenever I needed help they sent their team out and dealt with the issues. My landlady was also amazing, never met her but all requests were dealt with and no issues from her side either. I kept the flat in a good condition throughout my tenancy and at the end I painted everything like it’s my own place and cleaned everything. The letting agent was happy and so was the landlord. I got my full deposit back because I followed all the steps necessary. If i was to move to Birmingham ever again in the future, this is the first door i’d knock on for a property. 100/5 stars if i could, Also their office is in Harborne located in a nice vibrant and classy area with a excellent team who are always happy to help.

Please do stop renting any apartments from this agency IMMEDIATELY because they are in collusion with the landlord in an attempt to forfeit the whole deposit no matter how you do before moving out. A check-out report was received and there is little blemish which clearly does not justify what they do. FURTHER UPDATE They are flagrantly in an attempt to rob us of all deposits in collusion with the landlord. It is stipulated that your landlord also can't take money from your deposit,to fix any damage caused by a repair """"they didn't do when they should have"""", for example a leak you told them about that got worse and damaged the floor. Upon checking the record,we always informed the landlord and the technician immediately upon any damage found.However,they deliberately ignored it which resulted in further damage.It is believed that they were told in this way for earning money in an unscrupulous manner. Thus we have each and every reason for vigoriously advising that you MUST NOT rent any properties from this agency.If you are currently renting a property from this agency,you must take every action POSSIBLE to safeguard yourselves and be well-prepared to start a long battle in fighting for the deposit you well deserve. I bet they would respond to all negative reviews if they had guts.Otherwise they admit what all negative reviews related to their unscrupulous behavior are substantiated. Final update TDS makes a decision that allows us to get back most of the deposit.Thus,you must not trust or rent any apartment from this agency which consists of a bunch of scoundrels.It is beyond belief that Emma Parks,who is the Sales director strikingly deficient in conscience as well as moral principles, is leading and/or in collusion with them.
