GoogleI have dealt with numerous estate agencies and lettings agencies both as a landlord and seller. But SHIPWAYS Harborne have to be THE worst, most unprofessional agency in Birmingham. Without doubt. Vicki the Manager is useless as is their lettings guy Terry. And Sequence their letting management company are very poor to say the least. I advise you to AVOID unless you want a lot of pain, you like being lied to and you enjoy being ignored. Not a pleasant experience!

GoogleI recently sold my house using Shipways Harborne. I’ve had experience in selling property’s in the past and have found it to be a painful experience. This time it was not the case. Cameron kept me updated with regular updates, the valuation was very accurate compared to the market prices, he was very honest and knowledgeable which makes a change compared to other estate agents in the area. Would highly recommend to anyone selling their property.

Responsiveness, Value1 Star is far more than this unprofessional and untrustworthy company ever deserve.Avoid at all costs, it will truly make your life a misery.They do not follow the correct procedures as stated on their website in accordance with the Property ombudsman.The information they provide alongside "professional" guidance is frankly as much use as a chocolate fireguard.I will never use again, and would not wish their service on my worst enemy

After being hounded to see one of there mortgage consultants when we said no to them valueing our house due to have 3 people already and having it on the market, never getting back to us for viewings, numerous calls from different branches for for all the above, to then getting a call asking if I have any properties to rent out and then asking if I had any coming up, honestly this company cannot organise themselves and are clearly the worst of the worst people

GoogleWe didn’t end up purchasing the property with Shipways. However we were very impressed with the attention to detail and professionalism shown by Ashlee and Christiana. We are still searching for our next home and I would have no reservations about using this estate agent. Very knowledgeable too.

GoogleNeeded a place to rent, was having issues elsewhere as most estate agents were fobbing me off however had no problem at Shipways. Attique knew the kind of property I needed and within a couple of days I was able to view and put down my offer which thankfully was accepted. Very happy with the service.

GoogleNot trustable at all. They told me that they’re going to hand over the apartment ready and when I moved in I found nothing changed. In addition to the things that you can’t find about until you live and try things in the flat. I’m sure the land lord would’ve told the Letting agency about these issues but they continue to put accommodations on the market just to earn money, but at the end the tenant is the only person to get screwed up.

GoogleWe had our valuation done by Winnie from Shipways. She represented the company that seemd the most trustable and professional. We did a market check and apparently they are the best. Now about Winnie, first of all she spent the most time when we first met, she asked all the questions to understand what we changed in our home, why we want to sell and so on. When we decided not to sell she didn't push it but instead offered to help with their mortgage advising services. We've had a couple more meeting and decided to work with Shipways from all the estate agents because the whole team in Harbourne branch are nice and professional!

GoogleInconsistent with emails. I'd agreed to leave behind some white goods at a house I'd resided at for a small price, yet I never received this money. I then tried to contact the landlady directly who turned out to be as clueless as this company, let alone miserable and greedy. I never received an apology from shipways either despite it being them who were dealing with the arrangement of these white goods, an apology would've pardoned this review. Just lacking in any professionalism.

GoogleCalled to arrange a viewing for a property, got it booked but the agent never turned up. After waiting outside for 30 minutes and being told the agent was running late, I had to call back to then be informed they had already let the property. Which I suspect is bullcrap. Not happy about making me & 3 month old child travel for no reason and with no courtesy call. Avoid these like the plague... As an aside, I highly recommend YourMove Dudley. Check out their reviews! Update: The property that I wanted 3 months ago is still up on the market. I suspect I was treated the way I was because my income (maternity pay) was being supplimented by benefits, the last lady I spoke to, who made up the excuse about it being let, was rude upon hearing this. I find it ironic the property is still up for let, no "working professional" would want to live in crime central if they could afford it with no suppliments. I've always worked and always will work, I have always been a very responsible tenant, up against an irresponsible industry. What a world we live in when you are treated like a second class citizen for having a low wage.
