Instagram used to be a fun site

Instagram used to be a fun site. Originally it was a place to post your photos and like and comment on other people's photos. Every since facebook took over it's gone downhill. Facebook has no problem with having ads that are lies and ads from Russia because money talks but they have implemented rules on IG which you can find nowhere yet you are expected to follow and if they decide you have broken one of these unwritten rules they block you without telling you what rule(s) you may have broken or how long you are blocked and they give no response to your emails. They are no longer a fun site and instead have become power hungry money hungry capitalists.

Worst customer service. Ever..

By far the worst customer support ever. Why you might ask?? Because it doesn't exist!! If you need any help recovering your account or have other issues on the site there is absolutely no chance of speaking with an actual human. And this is a big issue because you are able to purchase goods from the app, yet if you get scammed, lose money, or something else goes wrong with the transaction you have absolutely no way of reversing such transactions through instagram. And they will do absolutely nothing to help you out. Sickening to see one of the most profitable apps not pay any staff for email or telephone support. Absolutely horrendous!!!

Twice they have suspended my account all I did was try to follow certain people then Instagram blocked my account for review. That's absolute garbage when I did nothing wrong!

HORRIBLE SUPPORT!

I have many Instagram accounts.. I got locked out of my main account a few years ago and i emailed support (Horrible support) I gave them all the info they needed to get me back in my account and they always say that its wrong and now when i try to contact them again they just ignore me. I sent them a email and few months ago and still have not go anything back.

For some buggy reason I am not allowed…

For some buggy reason I am not allowed to follow others on PC Instagram, YET I am recommended in following other channels... I can do it without issues on the mobile using the same account, so it's an issue on their end. If I had issues with my account they shouldn't allow me to follow others on the mobile app, as well!

Instagram frequently censors information that they do not agree with. Calling people out for being racist or explaining the complexities of the economy seem to be too sensistive of topics for instagram and they will threaten you and sensor you until your beliefs align with theirs.

Don’t even want to give instagram a star, but have to. My account has been hacked, the hackers have changed my email and password. Friends have been reporting it as hacked, and I have been emailing them to inform them to inform them of what has happened, and they still haven’t closed my account!!!

Account hacked

The worst customer service i have ever received! My account was hacked. I verified my identity twice and i got acknowledgement of this. I still cant get into my account because two way authentication was turned on by the hacker. They emailed me saying they cant help me. I asked them to deactivate the account and now they are ignoring me. Its a complete joke!

Reinstate your customer support.It's not a new thing that scumbags hack other peoples accounts, you should be ready tto assist, in fact, it happens so often that it should be at 5 minute task for you "guys".
