I would give it a 0 if it was possible

I would give it a 0 if it was possible. They remove people who follow you to stop your profile growing. They are stupid enough to remove your friend's from your followers. So it's noticeable straight away. I don't no why they control people's profiles. Just let them grow you fools and leave my profile alone. Why you feel the need to control how many followers people get it beyond me. It completely defeats the point of Instagram!! Since Facebook purchased it, it has gone to rubbish.

If i could rate 0 stars i would, i see instagram doesnt reply to these reviews to help anybody so i dont know why im wasting my time but what a truly awful platform for setting up a business account, nor do they make it possible to get help via their site/app except their pathetic "troubleshooting" option, i thought facebook was bad but this is another level of dog ****!!! "Edit profile" yea right, cant even delete a post on my profile, can definitely tell its a facebook company.

What a piece of crap for an app

What kind of company allows for pimping out of one's photos shared to the site, to be sold to third parties for marketing ads and scams? Better, what kind of company has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE NUMBER WHEN NONE OF THE SELF HELP pages address your issues? Likewise, the phone number and support email addresses are literal jokes. I deleted my profile from the web using my PC, but somehow, if I use my mobile phone, I can still log in to the "deleted" profile and it shows two photos...STILL! After deletion! Get it together, Zuckerberg, face of Instagram. You are a hack!

Great app but SO MUCH SPAM!

It’s a great app but the amount of spam on it is INSANE. As soon as a post from a popular account goes up there are 200 comments in a matter of second, al spam. Every comment already has hundreds of likes from other fake/spam accounts (purchased likes). For a site as large and popular as Instagram, it’s sad they have done absolutely nothing to improve on this front. Relying on users to report spam accounts is never going to get you in front of the problem, find a more proactive approach.

A Mecca for scammers and drug dealers online

The lack of policing of the site now has lead to a complete scrambled of drugs dealers and scammers praying on genuine customers unabated. It is a total waste of time filing reports using their online system as all reports it seems are ignored and the requesting of reports seems like a mere sop and PR stunt. If they cannot police themselves, government now needs to step in a do the job for them whilst holding the site financially accountable.

This big algorithm used from instagram sucks worst than a dirty girl.I supposed that probably it was this which deleted my account without any reason(i didnt spam or use bot) but one day while im writing a compliment to a really beautiful girl(not offences but only real compliment) i had a message you have to verify your account and (sbam )magically my account is deleted forever in less one minute.Incredible and support dont exist.EDIT: finally i know what s happened it was this fuc.k.ing algorithm of this sh.it program it deleted my account forever because i sent 4 likes to 4 girls in only 10 seconds(so for instagram i violated rules and close forever and gently they sent me a message where i can object it with one email to them and probably reopening my account)Loll)). I havent words no comment and very compliments for programmers Goodbye forever instagram i think i'll never forget this incredible experience(i gave 1 star but it would be an 0)

Instagram used to be a fun site. Originally it was a place to post your photos and like and comment on other people's photos. Every since facebook took over it's gone downhill. Facebook has no problem with having ads that are lies and ads from Russia because money talks but they have implemented rules on IG which you can find nowhere yet you are expected to follow and if they decide you have broken one of these unwritten rules they block you without telling you what rule(s) you may have broken or how long you are blocked and they give no response to your emails. They are no longer a fun site and instead have become power hungry money hungry capitalists.

Breeding Ground for Online Fraudsters

Do not buy anything online through Instagram, as it will likely be a costly regret. The site is a breeding ground for fraudsters, even those with the flashiest and most clever websites. Instagram seem to have little control over said fraud, and even worse seemingly content to let the practice continue, as it is impossible to contact them in order to protect other users. It shows very little respect for the safety of their customers. I am recommending to family and friends they should close their accounts.

They are bullies and rediculous

MThey are bullies . They have no right to interfere.or dictate peoples business. They are also very discriminating ...you set up public figure account after they invite you to verify your achievements to receive blue check mark which credentials you and then they ignore you and say NO. You are marketing your business for at home work some of us make money with this and they hack and block along with unfollow your followers when they have no clue about the accounts. Seeking lawyers to sue we sent them a cease and desist letter BBB told them to stop this. And they didn't causing personal injury. And it violates FCC laws. They say you can sell on your account and invite you then block you from it. Then because you aren't paying them for marketing they start harassing and injuring your account which is not legal. It is causing anxiety and during these times hindering our sponsors or prospects. Yet they allow a surge of 3 million to a -listers and don't block them. It is horrendous. To include customer service is none and horrible.

some disapointing times

basically got some really good news from my bestie and my friends and I were joking around on zoom and it was like instagram knew who we were talking about and all of a sudden all three of us notice our instagrams glitiching and there we are on Aidans mans profile requesting to follow him, this was all at the same time and then our instagram just liked two of his photos !! TWO and if that wasnt bad enough instagram then decided to follow his best friend Rosa ! dont worry though guys instagram didnt like any of her photos so its all good! Vibe squad is really disapointed with this outcome guy. we are so lucky that I managed to STOP the group chat it was making with aidans man in it! Vibe check = not good and that comes from Vibe squad !!

My profesional account has been blocked…

My profesional account has been blocked for no reason. I cant post. I tried reaching the instagram contact info for help but no response. Also in reporting a problem and there is no answer. They keep blocking my account and im frustrated. My personal account is working fine. I guess instagram is more for personal accounts than for business accounts. It sucks tho. Im posting the samw things on facebook and it is working fine dont know why instagram has so many problems.

Lack of Customer Service; Stole my Content

Upon trying to close my account, I attempted to download the content I had posted during the time I had the account. I then closed the account, and what I received via email what not a zip file or the like, but a link to the account that closed. I called and emailed for several days in a row, but by day two they stopped returning my emails. I tried to reopen my account so that I wouldn't lose anything, but as it's been a week with no help the account no longer exists. I believe by this action Instagram operates like a scam, letting you post your content on their forum, and then leave you in a position that you cannot re-claim your own content. DO NOT use Instagram if you have any self respect.

Terrible customer service. Account blocked for more than a week.

Hi, I am currently an instagram user and I just created another account for my dog goodgirl_pancake. I obviously followed people that are my friends and other funny dog accounts. Instagram then proceeded to block my account without any explanation at all and when I try to contact someone I get absolutely no response. Their customer service is terrible. When I try to comment or like on other posts or even post myself I get a notification that says action blocked and it says if you think we made a mistake tell us. So when I press the option tell us, it closes the window. I am unable to do anything to solve this problem and it is getting very annoying. Their customer service sucks. Never again! At least they should have the decency to let people proof they arent a fake account or even respond in a timely manner. At least explain why they are blocking the account and for how long.
