Honestly, boycott this platform

Honestly, I dislike how all my reels were getting views and now for about five months, I got no views. How all my reels are blocked? And now they have deleted my account because I called a girl a thot. But you can say the n-word, bi, women showing their bodies, domestic violence, little children cussing, and people doing fake reels that got millions of likes. Instagram is the fakest platform ever, how can I boycott them? Shut down this biased platform.

Awful

Awful. I loved the app but I’ve been suspended and have appealed but have had no action taken. I don’t even know the specific reason other than they think “I’ve gone against their rules”. I haven’t done anything and the same happened to my parents accounts. I’d like it fixed so I can get on the app again as I have important messages to reply to. Terrible customer service. Instagram is atrocious ! No help whatsoever for getting my account appealed ! Instagram has not sent me an email explaining why my account has been suspended !! Calling customer support is even worse !! Nobody answers the stupid phone !! I hope Instagram gets 2 billion bad reviews ! Instagram is full of sex bots and Instagram does nothing about it !! Instagram es atroz! No hay ayuda alguna para apelar mi cuenta! Instagram no me ha enviado un correo electrónico explicando por qué mi cuenta ha sido suspendida!! Awful. I have been on Instagram for 10+ years and I've seen meta run it into the ground. Identity Verification? I do not think so. Perhaps targeting actual scammers SENDING scammy messages would be a start, instead of AI singling out random users who just want to remain private?If anyone cared about the children they claim to protect then the Instagram age limit would be higher than 13+ due to the many studies showing Instagram is damaging to mental health.They link your accounts together and check personal information between them, so if you pick a random DOB and your next account has a different one they will probably flag you and DEMAND ID or they will delete your account. DO NOT GET INVESTED IN INSTAGRAM, I promise you it's just an elaborate method of self harm and getting your data sold by the Zucc. Anything untouched by Meta is far superior.Also they've removed tags for kins, sourcecalls and fictives, seemingly an attempt to destroy kinstagram.Every time I log on I wonder why I haven't deleted it yet.

Instagram was!This used to be a place where people shared their photos & experieces from accross the globe.Now it is a cesspool of ads that are provocative and disturbing, (to echo the voice of a fellow commenter) video suggestions are very much gross, they are exploiting children! this should be banned right away. If you report bad content, instagram DOESN'T take it down, but is quick to suspend people's account for no rhyme or reason. Content is become very sexulised, and dare I say pornographic. Instagram is participating and allowing youth to get involved in this, then suggesting these videos for all to see! (JUST JOIN INSTA AND SEE THE RECOMENDATIONS!) disgusting! This platform is gone to the dogs. PLEASE! PARENTS KEEP YOUR KIDS AWAY FROM THIS GARBAGE FOR THEIR OWN MENTAL AND PHYSICAL WELLBEING.

Terrible app. They don't allow me to comment the truth. When I do they tell me I have violated community guidelines... But when I read the guidelines it has nothing to do with it. I can't post any of the truth either cuz the same thing happens. This app is a lie, they dint follow their own guidelines, they change it whenever they want and how it fits them. Mark is doing a terrible job running this program

I keep waiting to be 'let down' by them but nope. They're great. They're saving me money with lightning fast servers. My Wordpress is fifteen hundred pages large. I'm not kidding. And it's nimble on them servers. I strenuously recommend them and that's a big deal. They are GREAT. Site migration was a snap. They did that amazingly. Great, Fast, Tech Supportive dealt with a lot of tech support over the years and is excellent. fast to answer, helpful and friendly. i greatly appreciate the support received.

The worst…

This is the worst version of Instagram we have ever had. Who is responsible for this horrible version? I am getting blocked for simply tagging my friends?!!!! Randomly a name/tag gets removed and my Instagram freezes. This happens ALL the time!!! Random words as well. I get blocked and restricted for using any old words! No logic, rhyme or reason: ANY words. Then the fact that only popular posts are shown and new posts in “recents” tags have been removed! Whose dumb idea was that? How are smaller accounts meant to grow?! Only the most popular posts are shown in recents, which is just madness.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Meta’s automated support system is an absolute joke and a masterclass in incompetence. My main account, along with 4 other connected accounts I use for my digital content creation, was instantly suspended due to a ridiculous "chain reaction" algorithmic error.

Stupid app

Whenever I type a comment it gets flagged up for spam or scam. There is no option to challenge this ridiculous error in the instagram algorithm. My comment contained no bad words or any offensive words at all. I've deleted my account previously, loosing all my videos and followers ect. The fact there isn't even an option to challenge this Is stupid, but from the creators of Facebook what can you expect? I do remember seeing Mark untouchableazerk at a conference. Abusive images had the option of " see anyway". So illegal abusive content IS allowed by my comments about an acne comment isn't?

I paid $120 dollars for my ad to run for 7 days and it was for 2 diffrent Video ads that i paid for wich is $240 dollar everything together and I came back on my instagram account yearsteday and today to see how my 2 Videos ads was performing just to finde out that Instagram disabled my add Just cause they felt that they didn't have any acess to my Debit card anymore again wich is Very wrong of instagram! because me Blocking my own Debit card was due to a fraud! That happened on my Debit card wedout my permission and this Shouldn't be the reason for it to affect what I Already paid! for! And I had to block my Debit card and report this fraud to my bank Because I noticed that so much money was being taken away and redrawn from my Debit card and it was Facebook META that was stealing my money wedout any of my consent! I didn't had any control over this act because Facebook was automaticaly redarwing so much money from my account and i didn't know how to protect my money So I had to Block my credit card immediately and remove every permission of online shopoing wich is also why instagram didn't had any acess to my Debit card that was already saved on my instagram ads account. But then again my 7 days of ads that i have already paid for are being wasted for nothing due to instagram Desabeling my video ad that is wrong cause i have already paid for those videos ads and it should be still runing because i already paid but instagram had the Audacity to still request for more money from my to pay for a ad for them to keep it runing for the remaining days wich is very wrong cause I have already paid! For my ads!! To be runing for 7 days but They claim that because I blocked my credit card 💳 that they have to stop my add unless I agree to pay 33kr more to restart the add again and this is a add that should have last for 7 days but they stopped my add before 7 days and asked me for more money to reactivate it after how much money I have spent just to don't recive the Exakt amount of Views i paid for and if I don't pay then the 7 days a paid for are all going to go at Waste all just because instagram wants Extra money for something that i have alrady paid! Stay away from instagram ads many people on YouTube have complained about how instagram Use to Scam people to pay so much money for ads just for this ads not to reach to the amount of people you paid for! I'm talking out of Exspirince this is not my first time buying instagram ads and not receiving the amount of Reach views I paid for after how much money i have spent and they still want more money for not doing thier jobs!! I can't even get a refound!.

It should not be a surprise that this app was sued for making the platform too addictive. I am a teacher and 95% of the students that come to me have cognitive issues that, when dug deep into the riverbank, stem from Instagram eventually.

Instagram has denied me my voice

I can’t talk use Instagram to keep in touch with my own friends, because Instagram is interpreting my very normal, innocent, lighthearted comments. I’m told it’s against EU Law? The fact of the matter is there is absolutely nothing wrong with my comments. They aren’t even close to offensive. These are people I know, not just online but in person. I know them so well I know how they’d respond and it would be a non event. I have reported people for genuine bullying, racist abuse, threats of theft, of sexual violence. 100% of these kind of reports have been unsuccessful, but me? I’m being treated the way these people should. I’m convinced there’s not a single human monitoring my reports or looking at the innocent comments/conversations I’m trying to have with my friends. It’s paralysing and I know it’s not in any way deserved. It has ruined my association with the app.

Due to discriminatory practices I have had two accounts taken down for LGBTQ+ content on which I mostly just post the announcements and parties of set flyers. I have heard the same thing happening to dozens of other LGBTQ+ accounts since the beginning of March of 2026. So far, I haven’t had no way to get any of the information or the account recovered.

I tried to set up an account. They said I needed to enter a code to verify my phone number. They never sent the code to my phone number, so I can't verify it and therefore I can't set up an account. I tried resending the code, but it still hasn't arrived. Instagram have just wasted my time.

I'd give this app a negative if I…

I'd give this app a negative if I could. So many videos of very young half naked women and men (report it and nothing). I can't even add my own comment about my disability like "I'm hard of hearing" when I watch a particular post, as they remove my comment straight away and stop me from commenting further. I have never used foul language, been hateful etc, yet I see far worse comments being post and not removed! Social Media is the devil.. Facebook included!
